2 Week Pilates Challenge: I start today!

I joined a Pilates sparkteam today and this was posted as a challenge for newbies. Apparently, when you do this, the noticable differences are in the loss of inches rather than pounds so I've measured myself to keep record (hey I need to know if this works, right) and I'll keep a record of my progress. If you want to give it a try too, here's the info...

This is a two week challenge with 3 rest days. You can use a DVD, book, attend a class whatever works best for you.

Day 1: 20-30 minutes of pilates (we're starting slow!!)
Day 2: 20-30 minutes of pilates
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: 60 minutes of pilates
Day 5: 30 minutes of pilates
Day 6: 60 minutes of pilates
Day 7: Rest
Day 8: 60 minutes of pilates
Day 9: 30 minutes of pilates
Day 10: 60 minutes of pilates
Day 11: Rest
Day 12: 60 minutes of pilates
Day 13: 60 minutes of pilates
Day 14: 60 minutes of pilates

My whole life, I've always been very close to two of my cousins: Lisa and Katie. We're all around the same age and all have a great sense of humor. We're blood :)

Anyways, both are actually engaged and Katie has actually given me a tremendous honor by asking me to be a part of her wedding party. I'm really excited... and a little scared. Not for her of course, her fiance is great. I'm scared of me trying to get into one of the brides maids dresses. Terrified actually.

A few weeks ago we all went to David's Bridal and tried on the dresses. They are absolutely gorgeous... on the size fours and size sixes I'll be standing up with. I know it's not a competition and I also know that I really am not that big, but I was, without a doubt, the biggest girl in the wedding party in height and with. It doesn't help that I don't have the breasts to fill it out.

Ok, enough self loathing. I'm stepping up my game starting this week. I've been taking my weight loss at a snails pace for weeks by pretty much just monitoring what I've been eating, but it's ON! Hehehe. I'm going to make sure I feel great in this beautiful strapless dress! That is my main goal for this. I'll keep everyone updated as the weeks go one, but if anyone has any suggestions on staying motivated, please let me know. I'm trying to achieve lean muscle all over and I believe that I can do this. Go Me!
