Overall not a bad day. My neck was a bit sore today so I put off going to Curves until tomorrow in hopes it will feel better by then.

Day 3 - Bump in the road

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

FIWC
- challenge completed for the week
Quickfire challenge
- 40 squats
Other
- None

I had a rough day today and I went back to bad habits...bad girl. I am home after being away studying for 2 1/2 months and everything keeps breaking... aaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuggggggggghhhhhhhhh!! So I have eaten a couple of chocolate bars and not done my full workout. But tomorrow will be better. I have to believe that. I am not going to let a snag in the road derail me this time.
Oh yeah...my insanity DVD's came in the mail today so I hope to start them next week.

Boy I know what you mean; I tend to stuff if I get too anxious or frustrated; it helps if I consider what I can do RIGHT NOW, and accept what I cannot do...... 6 year old 1000+ dollar fridge " broke" yet again, and water company sent a nice letter "preparing" me for a 500+ bill due to greater than usual water consumption caused by a leak at the meter they recently had replaced and installed by a construction company and which I let them know about several times.........got the letter on saturday, and office hours not til monday.........LOL sigh.

So, I CHOSE to stuff my face because I CHOSE not to accept that I could not do anything right then. Silly me! Back on track, here too! Keep on KEEPING ON! You shall prevail.
Hugs

Day 0 - A new beginning

Saturday, September 19, 2009

So I finally got the wakeup call that I needed. I joined the Falling into Winter Challenge (FIWC) and had to do my starting measurements here they are (scary!!):
Weight: 267lbs.
Arms R 15.5" L 15.5"
Bust 49"
Waist 47"
Thigh R 25.5" L 25.5"
Hips 54"
I realized that the distance around my hips is only 14" smaller than I am tall....thats terrible!!! It's time to do something about it!!
Pictures - See my gallery for Day 0 pictures as they did not want to upload on the blog.
Goals:
FIWC - Complete all tasks
Quickfire - Complete daily challenges
Workout - I have designed my own workout to do including the challenges, each day I will be documenting in a blog about what I have done to keep myself accountable.
Tomorrow will be the first day in my new life!!!!

I hope that you enjoy the challenge!! I did the summer Sweatsuit to Swimsuit challenge and it provided a wonderful energy boost for my commitment/motivation levels. I haven't looked at your starting pictures yet (yay for posting them though! I wish I had thought to take a pic of myself for comparison purposes when I started...I do now though, all the time!) but just by your measurements it looks like I was right where you are when I started. So I know you can do this. It may be a slow journey, but if I can do it, you can do it too!!! Take care Amber, and have a good day!
