Iím exercising like crazy and LOVE it!!! I put on over 100 pounds over twenty years while raising my kids. Hooray for me that Iíve become an exercise nut!
I live close to a Y and go more than once a day. I knowóit sounds nuts. But Iím in the right frame of mind. I have LIMITED TIME. When I go, Iím efficient. Generally, I boot myself out if Iím over 90 minutes. And because Iím so close, if I want to run back after supper, I do it. This week, DH is on the night shift so Iím doing more evening exercises. I love to close the joint down --- itís so peaceful. I will be there a lot during football season because I donít watch tv anymore. Got better things to do!!
I also exercise during the day. These donít count toward anything. My ďmindlessĒ exercise includes squats, lunges. Quickfire team suggestions, and sometimes new exercises I learn from classes or the internet.
My appetite is changed. I prefer healthy foods over unhealthy ones. When did this happen?!!! I donít know exactlyóbut Iím glad I changed!
Anyhow, Iím thrilled to see myself lead in SparkAmerica exercise minutes. I count my blessings everyday that I am getting healthier, stronger and more fit! It is slow progress but it is finally happening!!
