This is my very first blog ever anywhere on the internet. We will see how it empowers me (insert evil laugh here).
I did a full 60 minutes of cardio this morning keeping above 85% of my maximum heart rate for 80% of the time. It felt great afterwards! I was making amends...
I royally screwed up my diet the last 3 days. I took my Ohio State girls to Schmidt's in German Village during the accordion playing and we all three ordered desserts and shared. It was a planned indulgence but nevertheless it threw me off psychologically. I felt I abandoned my new commitment. I need to learn to manage these normal life events without punishing myself afterward. So today, the workout got me back on track. It suppressed my appetite for lunch but I will still eat a 300 calorie lunch with the easy bean mix recipe I prepared last week and put in the freezer.
