how does that work?

So, a while ago, i stopped tracking what i was eating and somehow i was still losing weight! i guess after the first few weeks of buying healthier food, it sort of got engraved into my mind that i need to buy better food. so, better food means that i'm losing weight with out really trying. I feel that if i were to pay more attention to what i need to be doing and excercising more, i'd have definitely lost the weight i had set a mini goal for (8 pounds) already. as it is, since i set that goal, i've lost 6 pounds! pretty happy right now with how much i've lost so far since the week before christmas! oh, and the week of christmas, i lost 1lb, too, which surprised me. and i didn't even try.

what i really need to do now is get my sleeping schedule back on track and find a job! that's my next goal!

i love food too much. i love eating it, anyways. i wish we lived in a world where everything was low carb or that you could eat all day if you wanted and still end up with the calories you needed and none more that were adjustable so if you needed to gain or lose weight you could!

on a different note, i wanted to go for a walk yesterday and today before class. neither happened. it's difficult to stay motivated if you slack off for one or two days.

    I want to reinforce the "if you're tired of starting over, stop quitting" quote from Basketlady13. That's exactly what I had to do in order to make progress.

    I know sissy. Sorry. Was a little blah Wednesday. But we got a great walk in today. And we are going to do some zumba tomorrow. Talk about bye bye calories!!!!! I am going to post a blog tonight with some of my favorite quotes. And we are going to make some great motivational cards. We are going to do this. It will be a little hard but we are gonna make it!!! emoticon Slow and steady wins the race!!!!

    You can do it. Do not let one bad choice, bad day, bad week, or even bad month stand in your way. I find if I start each day anew and try to be kind to myself despite what I did wrong the previous day, I feel alot better. And if all else fails, reach out to the community for support! Keep your head up!

    I heard a great quote the other day that I think applies here. "If you're tired of starting over, stop quitting." I know that's easier said than done because I have my days too where I'm unmotivated, but hearing that has helped me hit the gym every day this week. Hope it helps you too.

    Just keep restarting and restarting is all I can tell you. I have the same issues and the longer you go the easier it is to forget the whole thing. I have strong almost a full week together since committing to this again. And every day I fight the mental battle of doing it again.
