YOU TOOK MY PARKING PLACE AT CHURCH

Thursday, April 09, 2009

One day, a man went to visit a church. He got there early, parked his car and got out. Another car pulled up near him. The driver got out and said, 'I always park there! You took my place!'

The visitor went inside for Sunday School, found an empty seat and sat down. A young lady from the church approached him and stated, 'That's my seat! You took my place!' The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome, but said nothing.

After Sunday School, the visitor went into the sanctuary and sat down. Another member walked up to him and said, 'That's where I always sit! You took my place!'

The Visitor was even more troubled by this treatment, but still he said nothing.

Later as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood up, and his appearance began to change, Horrible scars became visible on his hands and on his sandaled feet. Someone from the congregation noticed him and called out, 'What happened to you?'

The visitor replied, as his hat became a crown of thorns, and a tear fell from his eye, 'I took your place.

Happy Easter everyone...

I just had to share this with one...I received this from a friend....

May there be Peace in your soul

Wednesday, April 08, 2009

May Today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and Love. It it ther for each and every one of us."

Have a Happy and safe Easter and Thank God for all he has done for us...

Little Zachary

Friday, April 03, 2009

Little Zachary was doing very badly in math. His parents had tried everything….tutors, mentors

Flashcards, special learning centers.
In short, everything the could think of to help his math.

Finally, in a last ditch effort, they took Zachary, down and enrolled him in the local Catholic school…After the first day, little Zachary came home with a very serious look on his face.. He didn’t even kiss his mother hello.

Instead, he went straight to his room and started studying.

Books and papers were spread out all over the room and little Zachary, was hard at work.. His mother was amazed. She called him down to dinner.

To her shock, the minute he was done, he marched back to his room with out a word, and in no time, he was back hitting the books as hard as before.

This went on for some time, day after day, while the mother tried to understand what made all the difference.

Finally, little Zachary, brought home his report card.. He quietly laid it on the table, went up to his room and hit the books. With great trepidation, his mom looked at it and to her great surprise, Little Zachary got an “A” in math.

She could no longer hold her curiosity. She went to his room and said, ‘Son, what was it? Was it the nuns?’ Little Zachary looked at her and shook his head, no. ‘Well, then, ‘ she replied, Was it the books, the discipline, the structure, the uniforms? ‘WHAT WAS IT?’

Little Zachary, looked at her and said, ‘Well on the first day of school when I saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I knew they weren’t fooling around..

Could they be more adorable? I like your feathered family. I had 3 laying hens and could not believe how flavorful the eggs were compared to store bought.

Never Take someone for granted.

Saturday, March 14, 2009

Never take someone for granted Hold every person close to your heart Because you might wake up one day And realize that you've lost a diamond While you were too busy collecting stones.
