So here we are in late May and I am very happy to say that I have put 195 miles on my new bike since late March. I have been cycling on/off for 15 years and recently upgraded to a Trek hybrid and clip pedals.
This riding season, I have set personal goals to reach 100 miles per month - I reached 124 miles in April. I joined a gym in December and I have lost 35 pounds to date. I am halfway towards my goal of 70 pounds. I love the changes that I have seen and felt in myself. Who knows....maybe next year a cycling race..
