Weekend Recap, the good the bad and the yummy!!

As we all know weekends are tough nutrition wise...they are for me anyway.
More so during summer months emoticon family, fun, sun and food.

So Friday my DS had a t-ball game (he played really well btw and had a good old time) I was snack smart and brought my own low cal popcorn to the game and all that and then ruined it with some candy that made my tummy ache emoticon Lesson learned, moving on...

Saturday was bad.....had a birthday party to take my son to so we went shopping for a gift in the am...kid wanted pizza for lunch and I caved in...I had planned on eating a "light" lunch knowing there would be tons of food at the party, well although I didn't eat much pizza I could have made a better choice "bad mommy"lol
burgers and hotdogs at the party, had one of each and some pasta salad...carb mania lol my son had an awesome time though. No birthday cake for this chick!!

Sunday fathers day I ate like it was my day though! Started the day out good with a green smoothie emoticon cooked (and ate) DHs fave breakfast chilaquiles and eggs, then I made sushi and lettuce wraps to take to my parents' house and well had a few more pieces of sushi than I intended...and 2 tacos and a couple of beers carbs carbs carbs!!!!!!!!!!

Good weekend, need more self control on portions!!!
Add 1 visit to starbucks on each one of these days btw emoticon

    Sounds like a good weekend!! Weekends are tough for me too, sounds like you made the best of it though! Everything in moderation! You are conscious and learning what makes your tummy ache and what is good!! WTG!! :)

So Saturday we had my Grandpas 92nd birthday celebration, I got all dolled up and DH said "You look very pretty" he always says that so it was no big deal...the next morning we were getting ready to go and DH asks me "So, how much do you weight now?" I said "138-139ish why?" he said "You're looking great!" I said "ok thanks??" hubs "seriously, you are looking really thin and your hard work is paying off!!"

June Goal-30 Day Shred!!/McDonalds drive thru 2x's and didn't order anything YAY!!

Well I managed to accumulate 1480 fitness minutes in May yay!! (20 min short of my 1500 minute goal but that's ok:)
My Goal for the month of June is to do the 30 day shred video everyday and lose 5-7 lbs 10lbs would be ideal but there are lots of festivites in my family in June so if I lose 5 I would be happy! Wish me luck Sparkies!!

So yesterday I went to the McDonalds drive thru twice and did not get anything for myself YAY!! DH wanted a breakfast burrito before DS' swimming lessons, and then DS wanted a breakfast mcmuffin after his lessons so I was so very proud not to order anything for myself woo hoo!! emoticon

I stepped on the scale this am
139.8 not too bad I had a few indulgences this past week.

    Congrats - great job on everything! I requested mcdonalds breakfast yesterday, but it was because I wanted to try the banana blueberry oatmeal! Funny how a year ago I would have gotten a bacon egg and cheese biscuit meal at least! Great job!

I'm not going to wish you luck. You'll succeed in reaching your June goals through thoughtful perseverance. If you can resist the drive through twice in one day, I'd say you've got perseverance!

    Woo Hoo! I would just like to say that going through the drive thru and not ordering anything is crazy hard! I have to do this on my lunch hour almost everyday because I always bring and my coworker (that I have lunch with) always orders out so I can appreciate how hard this temptation is to resist. Great job! Also congrats your scale victory!

I can't believe how fast this school yr went by! Today is my sons last day of 1st grade :( :) It is bittersweet for me he is just growing up so fast! He is such an awesome kid I'm looking forward to this summer with him, he will keep me active for sure LOL.

In other news I biked a total of 8 miles or so yesterday, 6 in the am on my own and about 2 in the evening with DS and DH our ride would have been longer but it got windy and chilly... NSV ALERT!!! After the bike ride we took the kid for ice cream and guess what??? I didn't order any!! I just had a taste of theirs!! This is huge considering we went to Coldstone and I LOVE their ice cream. So after ice cream we went to JCPenneys and guess what I got?? A size Small, cute shirt!!! Yup size small!! Oh I have also been using the pedometer for the past couple of days and coming way short of 10k steps...gotta get walking!!
I think I will have to make an appointment to have my thyroid checked, I had thyroid issues in the past and I just feel like I should be losing weight a little faster...

I don't seem to be losing much weight lately, but I must be losing inches!!! So I am getting rid of alot of my bigger clothes (panties included) I will only keep my biggest pair of jeans for some before and after pics when I hit my goal weight other than that if it does not fit it is out of here!! This is more than just a closet clean up it is meaningful because I refuse to let myself fit into those clothes ever again. There is no reason to keep them emoticon

    Way to go! Isn't it wonderful to look at a piece of clothing and say "It looks baggy on me, I'm never going to be this size again, someone else on the way down can use this"?
