So I'm right around -30lbs so I thought I would make a list of 30 things that have gotten better since! here we go...

1 I don't wear size 14 jeans anymore!! Now I'm a size 8..yes 8 single digits!!!!!
2 I can breathe better
3 I can walk without getting winded
4 Better sex
5 Better Skin
6 Started riding a bike
7 Actually go to the swimming pool with DS and DH
8 Better moods
9 More energy
10 I can actually jog!!
11 I started going to fitness classes
12 Taking advantage of my gym membership by actually going!
13 Two words Steam Room :)
14 Better Sleep
15 Learned to love sore muscles!
16 Self confidence...still working on that one!
17 Learned that persistance is better than perfection
18 Worn a couple of dresses!
19 Teaching DS healthy habits
20 Not eating out as much
21 Better overall health
22 WANTING to workout
23 Two words green smoothies
24 Less aches and pains
25 Less headaches
26 Easier to keep up with zumba instructor
27 Easier to keep up with DS
28 More motivated to accomplish goals
29 More motivated to lose another 10-12 lbs

    Wow this is great! I hope you don't mind if I "steal" this idea for when I lose 40 pounds...I have a few more pounds to go 'til the big 4-0 and I think making a list like this will really make me proud & motivated! Great job & great idea!

I jogged???

Yes I did! So yesterday I headed to my zumba class only to get there and find out it was cancelled at the last minute emoticon I was so tempted to turn around and go home, but I did not emoticon. I decided I would go on the treadmill and did Day one of the C25K challenge...and I jogged/walked for 20 min! emoticon a little over a mile and felt great!! (I know MEGA slow but not bad for DAY 1) After that I met DH and DS at the swimming pool, walked in the water and had some fun with the kiddo!! emoticon So it turned out to be an awesome evening! emoticon

    This is awesome! Love that instead of leaving which is the easier option, you ended up staying and having a great workout! I'm doing c25k too and I love the feeling of accomplishment I get when I finish a new day! Congrats!

Goodbye 140's!!! Hello 130's!!

I have been waiting to write this blog for a looooong time. This am I stepped on the scale, 139.6 wooo hooo!!! I'm finally out of the 140's I was stuck there for a long time. I was surprized because some crappy foods got the best of me this past week!! Anyway I'm hoping to not stay in the 130's for long :)
I have lost a total of 29-30 lbs!! This Saturday I decided I would buy some size 8 jeans that were really cute and cheap, I thought I could fit into them in a month or so...(they looked small lol) so when I tried them on and they FIT I was thrilled!! Woo Hoo!! Me a size 8????

This weekend I also bought a bike, and finally taught my DS how to ride his bike without training wheels!! DH also got a bike so we can all ride together!

My week without Zumba :(

So this week has been pretty hectic so for one reason or another I did not make a single zumba class:( I usually go 3-4 times a week!! I have been doing the boot camp videos, went to toning class, and have managed to stay pretty active all week!! But I realize I NEED zumba class!! So the goal for next week is better time managment....I really have to take advantage of this month (gym wise) because DS will be out of school at the end of the month...then I won't have as much time. Well today I chaperone DS field trip :) Hope you have an awesome Friday!

So feeling a bit encouraged by actually surpassing my 1500 min goal for April I thought I would set the bar just as high for May. May will be tough fitness wise because it is a super busy month at DS school with the winding down of the school yr and all that comes with that he also begins t-ball and swimming lessons this month so there is less "ME" time but NO EXCUSES I will make it happen!! Also lots of family birthdays and things of that nature! Also let the party planning begin for DS 7th birthday next month!! Yikes 7 already! Where has time gone?

May fitness minutes

1 25 min arc trainer,45 min swimming pool with D
2 60 min totally toned class,10 min challenge video
3 Challenge videos day 2(10 min),3(6 min),4(7 min)
4 Went to the museum with DS (field trip) lots of walking

8 20 min jog/walk on treadmill, 30 min water walking
