Well I weighed in this am...still 142.9!!!! I guess it's ok since I did have a birthday this past week which included extra food, cake and of course alcoholic beverages (my nemesis LOL) Also I would have to be honest and say I could have worked out a little more...I do know my clothes are fitting much much better though.

So I made the sushi recipe that I found here on Spark and it turned out awesome super easy to make and much much lower in calories and sodium than store bought sushi! Oh and much cheaper also LOL I snapped a quick pic to share!

Planning for next week,making sushi, new fitness classes @ my gym, new workout clothes!!

So I'm planning the menu for the upcoming week this morning and decided I'm going to attempt to make sushi LOL wish me luck I found the recipe here on Spark so I guess we will see how it goes... I have to go to the grocery store and pick up a few things. Tracked my food everyday this week and managed to stay within my cal. range! (just barely a couple of days) emoticon . This week my gym is starting 2 new fitness classes which I want to try they are 25 min each one is an ab/core workout and the other is called lethal legs so I want to at least try them out and see if its something I like. I have never tried any other class besides zumba so we will see how it goes. emoticon . I purchased new workout clothes at the mall the other night super cute black and white Nike outfit! That should motivate me to keep working on my 1500 fitness minutes for April. emoticon I am weighing in tommorow morning, I'm hoping to see progress this week but if not at least I feel great!     YAY! Let us know how the sushi turns out... Might just have to try that myself. Good luck with the classes. I personally like classes better I have someone there pushing me and I also feel like I have to do better then the person next to me lol. That's a great goal 1500 minutes! That is going to be my next challenge for myself!

Had to share a pic of my green smoothie, and other happenings...

So one of my sparkfriends shared a recipe with me for a "green monster smoothie" I made it this morning and I am surprised at how yummy it is! So I snapped a quick pic and here it is!



My mom is going in to get the results for her biopsy a little later today so I'm on pins and needles...hoping for good news.

Also Starbucks got the best of me this am, I forgot to set the coffee pot last night so I got my coffee at starbucks I did order nonfat though, but I was still surprised at the calories when I tracked it here on spark! emoticon

Denver Zoo and Downtown Walk Pictures!!

Hey Sparkies! I wanted to share some pictures of my beautiful city :). Wednesday we went shopping downtown gorgeous weather we DH,DS and I)walked for about 2 hrs it was great.

Then Thursday we packed up and headed for the zoo!! Tons of walking we were there for 31/2 -4 hrs. amazing weather again I looooooove spring! Also packed lunches kept it healthy and cheaper LOL :)


Plus I went to zumba after all the zoo walking emoticon

Needless to say I slept like a baby LOL emoticon

    DANG!!!!! You worked hard - glad you got the sleep you SO deserved! That is awesome (and fun)! WOW. I'm just so impressed because I don't know if I would even think about working out after a day at the zoo. Maybe now, definitely not in the past. So in March I had 1310 fitness minutes I am determined to reach 1500 this month being my birthday month and all! The warmer weather should help and I will be renewing my gym membership it expired on the 24th of march so its time to dish out the cash again

emoticon but I know it is a good investment so its all good I guess. I have also been thinking about investing on a treadmill but I really don't have room for it and last time I had one it turned into a clothing rack for some reason...Given I was not very serious about the weight loss then as I am now. Perhaps it would be a good idea. Still tracking my food and it is becoming a habit and easier.

    Wow! That is a great goal~ I made 1000 last month~& was able to lose 3 lbs by sticking with the 30 day Shred most days,
& walking as well.

    Awesome goal - I just barely made 1500 last month - I'll go for it again with you! :) You may still be in the 40's but barely!! You'll get there! Glad the tracking is getting easier for you - it really makes a difference IMO. Also, I love my treadmill. I don't know what I'll do if it ever kicks the bucket...Good thing I'm getting lighter and putting less stress on it. When I started on it I was over the weight limit just barely. Glad I'm under it now LOL. WooHoo!
