Yes indeed I am, I have been feeling awesome totally opposite of the lethargic couch potatoe I once was (not very long ago LOL) So this morning I was driving back from taking DH to work, saw the most beautiful sunrise (insert awwww here LOL) and thought WOW I'm one lucky girl. I see gorgeous sunrises almost every morning and rarely do I appreciate them! So this morning while I was at the stop light I just admired it for a few seconds and thought "It' going to be an awesome day" this may seem silly to you but before I started my weight loss journey or better said my healthy lifestyle journey I don't think I was seeing the beauty in things. Sad I know. But I see it now and actually seek it out if its not in plain sight! Good food, good mood I guess. The manicure I got yesterday also helped had an awesome zumba class although I forgot my hairtie and it was HOT!! On a not so positive note my fridge is not working well... so I have to figure out if it's worth repairing it or if it is time for a new one. Excited for tommorow my DS will be singing at school for their spring festival!!! He is so awesome! Oh by the way President Obama spent the night in my city last night!! I wonder if he caught a glimpse of the sunrise this am LOL. Anyway have an awesome day remember to seek the beauty in things (even broken appliances)
Well I weighed in this am...still 142.9!!!! I guess it's ok since I did have a birthday this past week which included extra food, cake and of course alcoholic beverages (my nemesis LOL) Also I would have to be honest and say I could have worked out a little more...I do know my clothes are fitting much much better though.
So I made the sushi recipe that I found here on Spark and it turned out awesome super easy to make and much much lower in calories and sodium than store bought sushi! Oh and much cheaper also LOL I snapped a quick pic to share!
So I'm planning the menu for the upcoming week this morning and decided I'm going to attempt to make sushi LOL wish me luck I found the recipe here on Spark so I guess we will see how it goes... I have to go to the grocery store and pick up a few things. Tracked my food everyday this week and managed to stay within my cal. range! (just barely a couple of days) . This week my gym is starting 2 new fitness classes which I want to try they are 25 min each one is an ab/core workout and the other is called lethal legs so I want to at least try them out and see if its something I like. I have never tried any other class besides zumba so we will see how it goes. . I purchased new workout clothes at the mall the other night super cute black and white Nike outfit! That should motivate me to keep working on my 1500 fitness minutes for April. I am weighing in tommorow morning, I'm hoping to see progress this week but if not at least I feel great! So one of my sparkfriends shared a recipe with me for a "green monster smoothie" I made it this morning and I am surprised at how yummy it is! So I snapped a quick pic and here it is!
My mom is going in to get the results for her biopsy a little later today so I'm on pins and needles...hoping for good news.
Also Starbucks got the best of me this am, I forgot to set the coffee pot last night so I got my coffee at starbucks I did order nonfat though, but I was still surprised at the calories when I tracked it here on spark!
