Week 2 of Committing to Workout M-F!!

Already Wednesday!! Yikes ok well I better list my workouts now before I forget

Monday was HIIT class again! emoticon

Tuesday Zumba emoticon emoticon

Wednesday I am trying to decide between aqua zumba and insanity...will post it later tonight after I do one or the other. Chose Insanity class with DH it is just more convenient. emoticon

Thursday Bootcamp emoticon

Friday Morning Zumba emoticon Plus I did a leg workout in the weightroom since it was pretty empty!

Another mini goal I have set up for myself this week is to take my vitamins every day! I organized them in a Weekly pill box. emoticon emoticon

In an attempt to break things down into smaller goals I am committing to working out M-F this week!!

Monday emoticon went to HIIT class last night with DH and it was great...BRUTAL but great!!

Tuesday tonight I will ZUMBA!! emoticon

Wednesday Yoga Class 6pm emoticon and feeling great!!

Thursday BootCamp Class 6pm emoticon

Friday 9am zumba, even if I'm a little late after dropping off DS. emoticon

I will keep tracking on here the rest of the week to keep myself accountable!!

    Perhaps on Friday you can do a nice walk with DH? I like that you are mixing it up and trying different workouts.

So every first Friday of the month there is a breakfast at my sons' school for the parents...usually not a very healthy one. Also available on Friday mornings at 9 am is a zumba class at my gym...typically I would choose to go to the breakfast and overindulge in crappy high calorie "food" and "drink" but not today!! Today, I chose to go to zumba class! I went and worked off about as many calories as I would have probably consumed at the breakfast emoticon I know I am not missing out on any school related information by not attending the meeting, I am not going to let myself give me a guilt trip about it either. It was not a selfish choice but just a more logic choice! A healthier choice emoticon

1. Got my lazy butt out for a walk last night

This blog is more for me than anything else to keep myself accountable! The rec center re-opened on Tuesday so no more excuses it is time to get moooooving!!

Tuesday 9/2 1 hr zumba class and about 20 min weight lifting (legs mostly)
Wednesday 9/3 1 hr aqua zumba class
Thursday I can choose between zumba and bootcamp..perhaps both IDK we will see I'm pretty sore right now.

*update Thursday turned out to be a rest day
Friday jogging/circuit workout at the park
Saturday volunteer work at the trail.

Monday I weighed myself @140 emoticon that puts me at +6 lbs!! That's why I am eager start losing again before those 6 lbs turn into 10 then 20 and so on...

    It's okay. YOu can do this! You're building muscle.

If you're sore, try doing some yoga or pilates. That'll work your muscles and help stretch you out. Trust me, you'll feel so much better afterwards. There are some great videos on youtube. Private message me if you'd like a few examples.

You have a great strategy for burning calories. Now what are you doing to tackle your caloric input? Controlling my eating habits has been the hardest part of this process for me. I struggle with it every day, but I know that I get the best results when I'm religious about eating healthy. Right now I'm using color coded portion control containers to teach me how much of what to eat to ensure I'm getting a balanced daily diet. So far, it's going great! Sure, I've had slip ups, but at least I'm more conscious about my food choices.
