I completed my 30 Challenge on my Wii AND met my -5 lb.goal! I REALLY needed this confidence boost as I know that the 30 day mark is when motivation can take a dive. My son and I have signed up for our first 5K in April so training for that is up next. I know from past experience how fantastic I feel when I'm strong and fit AND I want to set a positive example for my 2 young sons.
For the most part, I am very pleased with the foods I am choosing - I'm really paying attention to the "Big 3": Complex Carbs (including fiber), Protein and Healthy Fats. I can definitely tell when I've had a day or 2 of not-so-great choices: I feel edgy, cranky and sluggish. I'm going to try and pace myself because this is a lifestyle change, not a diet. I want to get to a place where I am more apt to make the best nutritional choices without even thinking about it.
