Well I hope everyone had a great weekend!!!! I did rented movies at red box, and had a fat day. emoticon I'm not exactly proud about going off my diet, but hey today's a new day and I'm getting back on that horse! Anyhow just thought i'd recap the movies i watched. The first was the occupant not a good movie it was kinda weird. The second was Total Recall, I loved loved loved this movie. I highly recommend it, especially if your into spy movies. Ok so the last movie I cant remember the name of it. I do know it's the new one with clint eastwood and Justin Timberlauge in it. But if you know which one I'm talking about I highly recommend it, great for the whole family.
So the bathroom is almost done!!!! It looks so great!!!! So spa like. When its done I'll put a pic up for everyone. I can't wait to take a bubble bath in my new bathroom.
Well here are my 3 happy things and I thought i'd start posting 3 things I want to work on as well.

1: Getting a new job
2: Making work outs a priority
3: Not snacking so much

1: My bathroom
2: My son learning to write
3: My morning coffee

    Falling off the wagon is negated when you jump back on. I think what keeps me on anymore is the fear of having to do it all again to get back to where I am now.

So today went ok didn't go over my calories. Hope to start back on work outs tomorrow my leg didn't bother me at all today! So yay on that. Even though at work today I personally think that should have counted as a work out lol. I was checking dates, so I was squating and jumping and climbing. Man am I tired. lol.
So excited started remodeling the bathroom today! Can't wait till it's finished. But right now my house looks like one of those home makeover shows lol.
Well here are my 3 things I'm happy about today.

1: Staying busy at work
2: Getting started on my bathroom
3: Reaching 9,270 steps! emoticon

    Congrats on a good day! It's so exciting to do home projects. We just did some of our bathroom recently too...nothing too major just some tile. I'm sure it will turn out beautiful!

So today is my 2 week marker! So a recap on how I did last week. Last week I think I did well except the last two days yesterday I went over my calories, and today I almost went over. I've looked back and figured out that my biggest problem in this area is snacking. Any one with any tips on how to not snack so much is welcome!!! Ok so for the excessive I did ok but I could have done better. I havent exercised the last 2 days because I strained a muscle while jogging and it is still a little sore.
Ok so here is my game plane for week 3. I am going to slowly work back up to 40 min of work out a day but do it slowly as to be shure not to make my leg worse. I also am going to start doing yoga be fore workouts to try and prevent another injury. For nutrition I'm going to try and be more aware while I snack and ask myself am I hungry or what and try to figure out why I'm snacking so much.
Ok so to end my blog I thought I would start doing an idea that I got from some one else's blog. It's to write down 3 things that I'm happy about today. Here we go.

1: It's warm outside
2: My son telling me that he loves me
3: My morning coffee

I know they are not life changing but they don't have to be. They are just things that made me happy today no matter how big or how small. Well that is all for now I will keep everyone posted.

    Tips for not (or better) snacking -
keep water on you at all times. If you feel like snacking, drink cold water first.
Brush your teeth when you feel like snacking. The flavor change might be enough to quell it.
Write a note on your fridge asking if you are actually hungry. Answer honestly before opening the door.
Keep fruits and veggies on the top shelf so you see them first when going for a snack.
Keep grapes or berries in the freezer. Little balls of icy joy :)

It's the little things that keep us happy day to day. Recognizing them can be what's life changing.
