no more excuses

So last night I was sitting in the kitchen feeling sorry for myself about how I hadn't worked out the last few days when I realized the only thing holding me back is myself. Then I dug deeper and I realized something. The main reason why my diets have failed in the past is i gave up. Because I was afraid of failure. But I realized so what if I fail. It's not the amount of times you fail that matter. It's that you pick yourself back up and try again that matters. And when I finally reach my goal it will be that much more sweeter. So no more excuses. So last night I got my lazy booty up and just did it, and got 20 minutes in. And tonight I'm not going to just sit around and think about working out. I'm going to work out.
So on another note I went over my calories today. It was my aunts home cooking that did me in. My self control went out the door. But everyone's human, and tomorrow is a new day. Well that's all for now I will keep everyone posted.

So today wasnt such a hot day for me. I did have alot of running around to do. Church, drama team, walmart, cooking, laundry. But I don't need to let my scedual get in the way of my health. I did stay on track with my eating but I have not worked out for the past two days and its eating me up inside. I just dont want to gain what little i have lost back. Even though i did buy a padomiter today that way I can start tracking my steps and everyday try and do 5 more steps than the previous day. But tomorrow's a new day even though tomorrow is also another busy day parent teacher meeting in the morning then work till 9. I WILL get at least 15 minuts of workout in tomorrow. Well that is all for now i will keep everyone updated.

Early start

Hi everyone good morning!!!! Early start for work today so today's blog is short and sweet. So busy day ahead planed! And I'm wondering how I'm gonna get a work out in. So here are some of my ideas. This first one I stole from someone else lol but every time i go to the restroom do 10 squats and 10 lunges. Park in the last parking space at work(more walking). When I go to drop off things at my river house carry them in the house one sack by one. And with luck maby I can get in a short session on my treadmill and some yoga. I know it wont add up to the 45min i usually do but at least I'm not opting out. Well that's all for now I will keep everyone posted.

fighting back the craveings

Good morning everyone!!!! So I went through a epic battle last night. So I was just siting in my kitchen when all of the sudden my son's candy jar starts stareing at me!!!! How rude!!! So I tell the candy jar hey back off I'm on a diet! But oh no then he starts wispering to me "come eat me". And so the battle began my willpower to stay on track against the evil candy jar. It was a fierce battle with much blood and crying (the crying was done by me), but in the end my willpower won, so i decided to go read a book instead. THE VICTORY IS MINE!!!!
Ok so I may be exsagerateing a little but my craveings were hard at work lastnight but i won. Its a small victory but a victory none the less. lol Anywho enough of my over active imagination. I relized something yesterday. When i was jogging yesterday I noticed that I can now jog for one minet straight no problum not out of breath or anything!!! ( for those who are just joining me on my blogs i am training in hopes to jog a 5k this summer) So starting tomorrow i will be going for 1min and 30 sec straight of jogging. I know this might not sound like much but im going from major couch potato here. I mean reading and playing video games doesnt provide much excersise. lol

7 pounds in 7 days

So it has been one week i cant believe it!!!!!! emoticon I have worked my booty off! lol But I have managed to loose 7 pounds in 7 days. Yes i realize it is probably mostly water weight but i will still continue to do my happy dance lol. emoticon
So today i thought i would share my game plane for my next week. Nutrition wise i hope to stay under 1200 calories, I also hope to get my family to sit down to one healthy meal. Fitness wise i want to do 30 min of cardio a day and 10 min of strength training a day. Motivation wise i am going to put encouraging sticky notes on my treadmill, mirror, fridge, pantry, and scale.
Ok so on a different note so "santa" got my son a DS for christmas but now mommy has to carry back to "santa" because it wont stay on. The battery is charged it just will not stay on. Ugh this is just what I need I just hope they will exchange it for a new one. emoticon Well that is all for now I will keep everyone updated!
