    Reasonable goals, once again! I don't know about thyroid problems. It could be additives in food, environment, or just that DR.'s are more knowledgeable!

Goals for Sunday

1. Walk for 60 minutes

I weighed this morning and I was a half a pound less! Even though I went slightly over my calories yesterday but that's okay because I recently decreased my calories so I would (hopefully) lose one lb per week instead of a half lb per week.

I hope you all enjoy your Sunday. I am in the process of cooking up some fresh Atlantic salmon and asparagus. It should be tasty, filling and less calories!!

    Well, I completed half of my goal tonight. I took a nap and when I woke up it was already 4 PM. The gym closes at 5 so I only got 30 minutes of walking in today but that's better than nothing!

No Weight Loss This Week Although I am on Target........

I stayed on target this week eating under my calorie range but all I did was maintain my weight at 242. I was trying to ignore my medical conditions and push through and see if the weight would just start coming off but it didn't happen this week. I see a doctor on Tuesday to get a refill on my hypothyroid meds (levothyroxine) so I am going to ask him about his opinion on my calorie intake - protein, carbs and fats. He might now something!

On the other hand I was diagnosed with PCOS and I haven't found a doctor here in LA yet to help with that issue. My other doctor was back in Houston and he wanted to biopsy me which I was not ready for even though it was just a small procedure.

So, the good news is that I am not overeating and gaining weight. I am working at losing weight, it's just not coming off (YET)

    I am at that exact same level. Yesterday, I hit 243 after a week of no real weight loss. I'm currently waiting on results from an endocrinologist to see what's going on with my insulin and hormones and whatnot, and in the meantime, I've started looking into other supplements that are supposed to be helpful. One of them is Inositol. I ordered the cheaper form of it (D-chiro-Inositol vs Myo-Inositol) on Amazon, but it had some good reviews regarding PCOS symptoms, so I'm excited to try it. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013OUKPC

    Aliceart, that's why I seldom weigh myself. It can be too discouraging and that affects me psychologically and my flesh wants to return to bad habits. If I know that I'm eating better and exercising I judge by how I feel and how my jeans fit.

You are doing great so be excited that you are still on track, even if you do slip every once in a while. We are not in bondage to food.

    Sometimes, if you undereat too much, your body will actually retain the weight and it won't be falling off. There are a couple articles on here about it!
