Wow, I don't even remember missing this yesterday, what's going on, was I that busy? Oh well, here goes.
I went to the movie today because our son wanted me to go, but he went to a different movie with my mom. I went to a different one because someone had to leave early to meet my neice at my mom's house when she got off the bus. That's alright, I didn't want to see Captain Phillip's anyways, I wanted to see Grown-ups 2, and that got out right on time. By the time their movie got out, they got home just after the bus got home, by about 10 minutes, so it was perfect. I was abe to leave and get home to peel potatoes for supper, and the ribs were just getting close to done. So supper was finished by 5 like it was supposed to be. YAH!
Thursday we pick up the new...well used but new, vehicle, only a 2011 Equinox, and Friday I take it in to get the new pinstriping on it. It'll have "Tsunami" pinstriping, blue/silver 10' long. I'm looking for a pic of it, hold on and I'll post it if I find it. It should look pretty good. This is a pic of what they look like, only in purple, ours are blue and silver.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow, and an even better day after. SMILE!

Sorry about missing my blog yesterday, I was so busy and yet it seems like I didn't do much, just one of those days. We went to see about getting another vehicle as our van is a 2000 and it's been acting up, there's something about the transmission going bad, and the locks on one of the doors no longer lock and the drivers side window doesn't roll up the best, just things like that, oh and the vents no longer work. I love the van and hate the thought of getting rid of it, just the thought of losing out on all that space drives me nuts, I love having the room to haul big things it's just such a relief, but the gas mileage isn't the best. I love my astrovan, and the one we looked at, an Equonox, is a used one, 2011, and White *shudder* I absolutely HATE white vehicles, but it is loaded with nearly everything. But white...I have never owned a white care in my life but my very first one, but that wasn't my choice. I just hate white cars (sorry to those who do). They're just so.....I don't know...not very pretty in my opinion. I'd rather have one with some nice coloring, not red, either. They're the ones most likely to be in accidents, according to reports. I would love a dark green or some color blue, (like our van, a teal blue), anything but white. But looks like it's what we'll end up with if things go as they are. Oh well...such is life, I guess.
Ok, enough whining *L* at least it's a vehicle, right, back in control of myself. It's a cool, but sunny day out, and I need to get back in line here. Time to go to my exercising here at home and getting things done around here. Have a wonderful day everyone, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Well the weather can't make up it's mind, but at least it's stopped raining. I'm hoping it's wet enough that our daughter's bf can't get into the fields and can go to the haunted houses with us tonight. 3 people backed out (all in the same family) and it gets frustrating because they tend to do that all the time. Are they really friends, then? In my opinion a friend, a real friend wouldn't do that to a person. I mean it's like this; at the party all 3 of them were all hyped up saying, oh yeah, we'll be there, we can go, no problem, lets do it. In fact they are the reason we're going this year, we weren't going to at first, but they got us talked into it. And then yesterday after posting it on FB a few times, the daughter finally said "yep we're going" and then not a half an hour later her bf said "sorry, we can't go, we have to save money". I said "wait...we're driving, all you have to pay for is to get into the place." I mean, the mother works, the daughter works, and he works...what's there to save money for?
But, as I said, you can't depend on them for anything and it's really getting to be a pain, so I'm actually considering not bothering with them anymore. We've bent over backwards and stuck to our promises all the time, but it's like they couldnt' care less...I think it's time to cut the strings.
Ok, 'nuff said on that, I need to get going and find my long underwear it's going to be cold out tonight. *L* Have a great day, see you tomorrow!!

It's raining hard outside today, kind of wonder if it's going to dry up at all by tomorrow night for the haunted houses tours for us.
Everytime I look at the 5 generation picture, I wish so much I still looked like that, size-wise I mean. I cannot believe I've gained this much weight after looking that small, but then again, that was before I became diabetic and before I had kids, too. So much has happened. My legs, back then, were so small, I look almost anorexic with my height. (5'8) It's hard to believe that was when I was 15 or 16 I don't remember, and that when I turned 18 I was even thinner because I became Diabetic and went down to 98 pounds.
I need to get my exercises done, I've been working on my walking exercises, and will get back to doing my 10 minute exercises again, too, in addition to those ones, so combining the two, doing twice the exercises, soon.
I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween. I'll see you tomorrow.

I hope everyone is having a great day, I'm not doing to bad, I'm feeling so-so, but it's better than last week when I felt like crud. I've been able to get my exercises done so that's great! Still thinking about going to haunted houses on Friday night, I'm just hoping they're still open then, I have to check on that today.
The one in Stoughton has their last year this year, so I think we want to hit that one, or maybe the one in Beloit and then Whitewater, I'm not sure. I wish they were closer, but oh well, what can you do, right?
The weather is warmer today, but foggy as heck. I was a little frustrated last night, I was so excited because I wanted to show our son a couple pictures of myself when I was a baby and a teen, both 5 generation pictures, but he wasn't interested. It just kind of was a letdown. I mean I was actually skinny in the teen picture and kind of proud of it. I don't know, maybe it was just my mood...but oh well...guess that's just how guys are, right.
Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful day, I have to get going and find out about the haunted houses.
