My stomach hurts a little, but I'm sure I'll feel better later in the day. Need to do my exercises but I may have to wait until later, as my daughter's coming over to pick up her cart , which is at another place, and take it to get a piece of leather put on it. I'm hoping when she picks up the cart it already has it on, but the guy wasn't sure he could do it. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Also found out the pony show is the same day as my cousin's (2 of them) graduation celebration, so I'm going to miss that. Shoot. I really hate that because their grandmother and dad's usually come to everything we've had, I really feel bad.
Well, hopefully today will go great, keeping my fingers crossed. You have a beautiful day too.

I've returned from my trip to our nieces wedding up in Green Bay, and it was gorgeous; she looked so happy, as did her fiancee.
It was a wonderful trip, got up on Sunday and walked down to Lambeau field, then past the training building (the company my hubby works for did the building); and back to the hotel. I was shocked, MapQuest said it was 4.5 miles. I couldn't believe it, but hey, I'm glad I walked now!
We had so much fun and my husband, myself, and his brother were at the same table as the bride's parents, what an honor. My husband is her Godfather, so he got a flower too.
Well, back to work, until Friday when we leave for Springfield, IL, a long drive, for the Regional IV Shetland Show. Should be fun. Have a great week!
When our daughter picked up Gator (her dog) we found that a dog next to him had taken her 2001 high points blanket that Gator loved, and tore it to pieces. It was awarded her for having high points during her last year in 4H in the horse/pony project. Such a shame, Gator loved it and we figured he'd be more calm with something he was used to laying on. Frustrating.

well now we see how we do without a computer for the weekend and worse of all, without SparkPeople. I've become so dependent on my nutrition area here, I find it hard to keep track of what I'm eating and figuring out the calories in it. I don't have a cell phone that I can get internet to connect to, nor any computer anywhere to use, so I'm up a creek, with only my book to use, I hope it has everything, but we'll do the best I can.
Anyway, I'm hoping maybe to walk down to Lambeau Field sometime, I've never been in that neighborhood so I don't know what it's like there in Green Bay if you can do that safely or not, but we're about a block away, so if I walk down there and back a few times, I could get in some of my exercise, maybe if the hotel has a weight room too...but we'll see. I'll try to get my husband, or kids to dance, that'll be fun too, but my husband doesn't dance much, but to slow songs once in a great while.
I hope you all have a great weekend, and I'll see you Sunday night or Monday morning!

Wow, talk about a change in weather, yesterday it was so warm out and today it's really cool, at least that breeze it. I had the ceiling fan on full blast yesterday and I'm about ready to close the windows today. I can't believe how much things have changed from when we first moved into our home. Used to be I had wished we'd gotten an air conditioner put in the house because it was always so hot in here, but now...we don't really need one hardly, a quick jump in the pool and we're good to go.
For some reason the weather has changed so drastically that even when the day is hot, you still get that cool breeze, no matter what! That's so weird, but what can you do....I guess be thankful for it, because otherwise we'd be roasting, right? No complaints, then, just enjoy.
Have a wonderful day, and I'm leaving Saturday morning, early, heading to Green Bay, for our neices wedding, so have a fantastic weekend everyone and always smile!

I saw the sweetest thing today that just renewed my faith in mankind. My daughter and I were sitting in the living room and a car stopped in front of the house, and a teen got out, actually 3 of them did. They walked to the side of the road and then two of them walked back to the car, but didn't get it, the other stood at the side. we decided to go out and see what was going on, and as we got closer, the one near the side of the road explained that a tiny kitten had been sitting in the middle of the road and they wanted to put it in the ditch so it wouldn't get hit.
I nearly start tearing up, that just never happens anymore, most people would run it down, but to see 3 teen boys stop and actually get out of their car to help a helpless little kitten was incredible. I'm so proud of them, they will grow up to be men to look up to, that's for sure, if they aren't already. I know I look up to them.
It certainly renews you're belief in mankind, I'm so happy there are still a lot of good teens in the world like them, that means our future is in good hands, and I thank God for showing me this today. And most of all, I thank them for showing their true selves to us, I'm so proud of them, and they should be proud of themselves.
Remember, never ever judge anyone by how they look, because you never know what they're truly like inside, the outside never reveals what the inside is like.
Have a glorious day, everyone, I certainly will.
