good news and bad, ok..not so bad...I did the interview, the typing part, and though I normally type 90 wpm (my last typing test was that), it was done on a natural keyboard...todays was done on a regular keyboard and i missed their required 10,000 keystrokes with no errors by 20 keystrokes, NOOOOOO...so I asked them, jokingly about bringing in my natural keyboard and they said I could, and retake the test. I was sooo relieved, because I know I can pass the test easily with it, but using a regular keyboard, it was so hard, my hands aren't used to using one of those regular ones after all these years. When you're sitting there typing on a regular keyboard, your fingers just can't get used to using one of those. The lady was so sweet, she kept saying "you were soooo close", and I knew I was, but I just didn't hit it. So now I go in next Tuesday at 330 to retry, with my own keyboard, thank Jesus for that! I can't wait to see how I do with my own!
We worked the rest of the day with preparing for the ride tomorrow, it was cold, and rainy, I hope tomorrow is nicer, it could be worse with snow up north (up to 17" in spots, is this really spring???). I keep praying it's nice out for the ride.
Anyway, if not, we've got some wonderful things for the silent auction, and the SCWHOG always has come through for us. We are their longest running fundraiser, even longer than the MDA Tub Run, which is so incredible to believe. They are the greatest bunch of people, and I love dealing with them. Thank God there are human beings like them to help foundations like ours. If not for them, the playground would have gone into disrepair.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone, and if you live in Janesville, or nearby, please feel free to stop by Kutters Harley Davidson, we have a HUGE amount of great items for the silent auction, and you can even go on the ride, you don't need a bike to do it, cars are more than welcome too!.

Wow, I was in the middle of my exercises and got a call to come in for a job interview. As many of you know, I held a homeworker job for 20+ years and the business closed it's local office, so a month ago, or so, I no longer was employed. I'd put in an application at another homeworker type job, but hadn't heard anything. Well today they called and wanted to know when I could come in for an interview/testing, so tomorrow at 10am I'll be there..then to Kutter Harley Davidson to get ready for the playground ride at 2pm. Saturday the ride starts at 10 am, so I need to be there by 9 am...not sure I'm ready for it, but it always ends up to be fun!
I hope you all enjoy the day the Lord has blessed you with!

After all these days/weeks of rain and cloudy weather, we finally had SUNSHINE yesterday and it was near 80 degrees!! Can you imagine, 40's/50's and suddenly you have an 80 degree day. Now THAT'S time for celebration.
I'm not sure why, but last night I was working on the computer and all of a sudden I just felt like I was going to be sick! I've never had that happen, I mean, nothing happened, but the "forerunners" to actually tossing cookies, and then it went away. I have no clue what that was all about, but I'm hoping whatever it was is gone for good now. Yes, I know, TMI, but it was just something odd that happened.
Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful day and a great weekend ahead.

Boy I feel like I could just lie down and sleep for a couple days, I've been having to get up at 2, 4, 6 to take blood sugars because of my noontime sugars being high. I have to do this for 4 days, not every day, but still, every other day is enough. and I'm supposed to switch and do it at 1, 3, 5, 7...I don't know if I'm ready for that, but I have to in order to get it straightened out. I wish, sometimes, I'd kept my old pump, it wasn't until I switched to the new one (same exact settings for everything) that my blood sugars went screwy.
Oh well, hopefully soon. The weather isn't bad, but wow, the wind is really blowing. After the storms that went through last night, I would have thought it'd go down. I'm just hoping while Rick's gone the electricity doesn't go out, because I'm not sure I can get that generator going, and I need to in order to keep the water from coming into the basement. What a pain, can't we just stop the rains and get on with it?
I'm not looking forward to the weather this weekend, because if there's even a hint of rain, we won't have many riders on the HOG ride for the playground. I'm praying for good rain...let's just hope it comes through.
Have a great day, everyone!

I'd posted a blog for yesterday, was I that busy I forgot..I need an instant note to pop up to remind me I guess.
Anyways, today I tried a new walking video, this one was 21 minutes instead of 14, so I had an extra 7 minutes. It wasn't too bad at all, I did it first instead of the core exercises and weight exercises, and I don't feel too bad. I can tell I'd exercised more, but that's alright, I'll take it. :)
It looks like rain again today, had a couple good days, and am hoping and praying next Saturday is nice, but so far looks like light rain in the morning...I'm hoping it's EARLY morning, like 6 am, because then for the harley ride it'll be over and done with. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
UPDATE: My daughter came home and said that last night, around 10 pm, she and her bf heard the weirdest sound outside the house (they're in the country) and it sounded like a black bear. They're rare around there, and it's kind of early, and she said the sound she heard was more drawn out than other bear sounds, so now we're confused as to what it is. I've got a call into the DNR to see what they think. She found something similar to it on youtube.com
2c at :57 seconds. I think if I'd heard that I'd be afraid too, even their dog was scared. Imagine that!
I hope you all have a wonderful day, I have so much to do, but I'll return, never fear. :D
