It's been raining all day today, it hailed before I got up, my husband said there was about an inch of hail on the ground, nice. Not to mention it's been cold all day, and with the rain, that chills to the bone!
I was so busy today, I went to pick up a donatoin for the Silent Auction coming up, and then was going to help my daughter with her ponies, but she decided she didn't need me to help.
This weekend Hospice has invited all us family members to a church to see the quilt they put together in our family member's memory. I'd made up a picture and put a couple bluebirds and sunflowers on it for my Dad. I can't wait to see what it looks like, though I never like going to these things, I hate crying and I always end up with tears at some point. Yes, I know it's healing, but still, I'd rather keep it to myself.
So there are days like thsi that I can't wait to climb into my nice warm waterbed, mmmmmm waterbed. I love it and would never get rid of it!
Have a beautiful week and weekend, I'll talk to you tomorrow!

I know I've said this already to someone, but when I come here and read comments, it really gets my day going, now I'm not asking for them, I'm just saying when I read something like Dee wrote below it makes a person feel so good. Yep, I do have a 27 year old daughter and a 28 year old son who are wonderful people, and I'm so proud of both of them.
I hope you all have a beautiful day today, whether it's raining (like here), or the sun is shining, or it's *shudders* snowing, make the best of your day and always reach for that light, that goal that you're trying to achieve.
If you fall, if you stumble, we'll always be here to pick you up and help you along because that's who we are, a TEAM, WORKING TOGETHER TOWARDS ONE GOAL....a Healthier life.
Have a GREAT DAY everyone!!

I could have said "Rainy Days and Mondays" but it stopped raining and the sun's out now, YEAH! I'm getting my "humor" for the day, watching my daughter with her golden retriever..she's biting his ear and he's growling, but in a playful way. They are hilarious together (she's 27 and like my Dad, teases everyone, even her dog), and the thing is the dog takes it and loves it.
Rennugade aka Gator is such a great dog, she got him from someone she worked for after his (Gator's) dad died from Cancer at 4 years of age. She spelled Gunner's name backwards and added the "ade" for his name, and we nicknamed him Gator...this was way before we realized that he actually does "snap" his teeth in play. It's hilarious, just like his name, he does Gator snaps. I love it. He'd never harm anyone and I don't know what we'd be doing without his humor to get us through. Not to mention he's able to tell, many times, when my blood sugar is low, even before I do. He'll come over and put his head on my lap, or nudge my arm as if saying "come on, check that blood sugar" and when he's done it, it's always been low, so then he'll stay by me until I get something to bring it up again.
Anyway, my day is going great, done my exercises and am varying them now to get something different going on.
I hope you all have a GREAT day!

I actually woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed...if I actually had a tail that wouldn't scare me so much. *LOL*
I hope this day lives up to what it's supposed to be in regards to how nice it's supposed to get outside. It looks beautiful outside, I've not been out there yet, but I will, just finished my exercises and I've been so horribly busy doing those survey things that I've barely had time for anything.
Been trying to get donations for the silent auction for the CAMDEN Playground (an accessible/integrated playground that, at the time of it's building, had broken the barriers for accessible/integrated playgrounds in regards to size and accessibility. Before it was built the largest accessible/integrated playground was only 40% accessible, and not that large. CAMDEN is the size of a football field and 90-100% accessible, depending on the special need! It has also broken the barriers of prejudism against those with special needs because it allows everyone to play together in a natural place that children enjoy. It is used by Senior Citizen communities to take their tenants out for a day way from their homes; by schools for field trips; and by families on their way through Janesville while on long trips.
It's been the model for accessible/integrated playgrounds worldwide with over 200 modeled after it directly since 1993 when it was first built, and many more from those. There are playgrounds in many countries including Holland, China, Russia, India, Canada, England, and all across the United States, just to name a few. The playground was built because of my nephew, Camden, who has special needs, and has been the recipient of awards from the local to National level. It's something that has made our organization so proud and the SCWHOG is the only ones who have done an ongoing fundraiser for the playground since 1991: a ride the first weekend in May. With this, the Ladies of Harley hold a silent auction, so we have to get out there and gather items for this auction, I'm hoping we're able to get as much as we did last year. The money received is used to upkeep the playground, so let's pray for great weather and a good turnout.
Anyway, enough about what I do in my so-called spare time, everyone have a wonderful day!

Wow, I'm wore out, I feel if I laid down to sleep I wouldn't wake up until June, and I'd still be tired, you ever have one of those days? Oh well, the important thing is I got my exercises done and was feeling great. :D
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, even with the rain, not making for such a great day, but I guess it's all how you look at it. Smile once a day and it'll change things. :D
