Take time to take care of you

Why is it that we give give give so much to everyone else, but when it comes time to do for ourselves, there's always an excuse. emoticon

I'm going to stop and take time to do something nice for myself every day, even if it's just a small task like looking in the mirror emoticon and giving myself a compliment, taking a nice soak in the tub with some aromatherapy emoticon and soothing music emoticonor positive meditation CD's, or whatever I can do to help me remember that I AM IMPORTANT. emoticon

    I agree. But it's easier said than done. My daughter constantly scolds me about not taking the time to do things for ME. I'll do it for a day or two, and then I'm back to neglecting myself for others. Caring is a blessing and a curse, but I really am trying to work on this. emoticon
