Give a good word today

Friday, December 17, 2010

Give someone a good word today. Some encouragement, a smile- anything to make somebody else feel better. It will in turn make you feel better.

A Quote

Thursday, December 16, 2010

I saw this on another Sparker's page and thought I'd share it.

Christmas gift suggestions:
To your enemy, forgiveness.
To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To a customer, service.
To all, charity.
To every child, a good example.
To yourself, respect.
- Oren Arnold

Eggnog anyone?

Wednesday, December 15, 2010

This is National Eggnog Month. (HungryGirl) Who knew?

I hardly ever drink eggnog - It's too delicious and too high in calories which means I'm not able to control myself with just one serving. Recently I found a soy eggnog that was much more calorie friendly. When my family saw the label they were not happy. But once they tried it, they liked it. Of course they still wanted the real thing. I had one serving and was content

If you love eggnog, give this a try. Pour 1/4 c of the light eggnog into a glass and then add 3/4 c of skim milk. You can spinkle a little nutmeg on top if you like. This gives you the tast of the eggnog without being so rich.

In my quest for health, I have totally forgotten about EggNog. There's a great healthfood store nearby, I think I'll check it out tomorrow.

I have been hooked on this Fat Free egg nog yogurt from Target. Last week, we went to a frozen yogurt shop, and I sampled their egg nog flavor, it was very nutmeg-ish and tasted way too sweet, I guess I am too accustomed to the fat free yogurt version! LOL Well, that's a good thing, because it's only 90 calories, who knows how many were in the froyo!

Glad you got your taste and were satisfied! MMMM! emoticon emoticon

Have a fab day!!

I like eggnog, but I can pass it up no problem. My kids on the other hand love eggnog. I usually buy a couple of quarts during the season. I usually don't have any.
