Every year my town has the local fire department come around every street with a Santa Claus who waves to to everyone like he's in a parade. It's really cute. I just heard the sirens so I guess they are on their way.
I hope he doesn't forget to leave my tickets to Hawaii and my brand new big screen.
I've been up since 3am. This is the 4th nigh in a row.
So today I'm going to take my son to school and come right back home and get in the bed. Of course I won't be able to sleep because for some reason i'm not able to take a nap. It's weird.
But I'll close my eyes and put on some calming music.
When I was growing up she was always sickly. She worked hard-sometimes two jobs-just to make sure my brother and I had everything we needed and more. I've always seen her as one of the strongest women I know.
In the past few years she has really gotten her health under control and is doing very well. She looks terrific (better than me), and she is really living and enjoying her life. She travels, goes dancing every Sunday night, takes dance classes, does yoga and exercises everyday. Her diet is vegetarian and she takes a multitude of vitamin supplements that have really helped her live a better quality of life.
Her healthy habits are helping me on my journey as well. I've gotten her to join Sparkpeople and she likes it here, when she has time to log in.
