Last week my son was sick and now it has spread through the house. DD and DM now have it. i feel it coming on, but once I get home I'm going to fight it so hard it won't know what hit it.

The surgery went well. I’m up and walking around. Well, I don’t have to worry about that time of the month anymore and the awful pain I’d been having for 7 years. Yesterday was bad- the nausea and not a wink of sleep.
You know you never really rest in the hospital cause they have to poke and prod every 4 hours. Tonite the doc is giving me Ambien to help me sleep. She and her Midwife came up earlier and gave me the biggest hugs.

I also met a nice N/A who wants to come to my house and learn to use the computer. She’s older and from another country. I’d be happy to teach her whatever I know. I also have a very nice nurse today.

My daughter brought up my lap top so I don’t have to miss out on Sparkpoints. The nurse was laughing because she wants me to rest. Being in here really made me think about how truly blessed I am. I’m thinking about changes I want to make and things I’ve put off doing, that I should be doing.

Oh well lunch is here. Breakfast was a wash. I had no appetite but I forced a few pieces down.

I just want to say again, thanks to my Spark family for all the love and support. Even though I have not met any of you in person, I feel happy knowing you all.

Surgery tomorrow

Well tomorrow is the day. Today I feel awful. I think I've caught my son's cold and I'm having terrible cramps. I got all my chores done, and cooked enough food for my son for the next 3 days. I'll be back on Wednesday. I'll do as much on SP in the morning. I don't want to miss a day, but unless the hospital has a hot spot I won't be posting anything. My kids thought I was crazy when I said they'd have to bring my laptop to the hospital so I could Spark. If there's any way to get on the net, I'll find it.

I wasn't on Spark when I was in ICU in January 2010,if I was I would demand a lap top or a pc to do my Sparking,I have a perfect attendance and I wish to keep it that way,lol,or try!
