Dumb People

I believe I would be included in the dumb people category!

Unfortunately, we are not getting to take our trip this week. Hubby is still having problems from his vasectomy. He made the decision last night. The four hour car drive - not good. The wife having to do all the lifting - not good. Being in pain - not good. Being swollen as big as tennis balls - NOT GOOD! So, here's to our first Thanksgiving in little Weatherford, OK!

    Hope your husband went back to the Dr, because of the swelling ,that should not be,in fact he should not experience so much pain after such minor surgery. Hope you all did have an enjoyable thanksgiving in spite of everything

    I absolutely love that picture! I'm sorry your hubby is still in so much pain. Maybe having a quiet little Thanksgiving will give you guys some neat memories down the road... minus the pain. Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hugs to you.....All things work together for good for those who you know what, and you fit that discription. Disappointing at first but you will make it fun and relaxing. I on the other hand are going to blow it and am planning on blowing it, Looking forward on blowing it. Mentaily not prepared to do any different. I will get it out of the way and start over. It does more to me than gaining weight. I think I have an allergy to certain foods and will work on that after the binge.

    Ugh! That is so true! I partially blamed dh because we always eat later in the evening than I use to. Then he would offer me 2nds of something and just heap it on my plate. We're FINALLY getting better at that last. He'll say, "Here have some candy corn." I'll say, "No thanks." And he'll give me some anyway. Then right around Halloween he said something like, "Oh, I guess I shouldn't do that huh? It's not really helping."
Then I wonder how much of our weight gain after marriage is complacency and we don't have to try as hard because we've caught him! The not dressing up or wearing make up sort of thing.

    Yea, I know the feeling. When I first got married I weighed 135 pounds. I'm not sure if it's marriage or just getting older.

    Ah, the wonders of Photoshop... She is pregnant, but one cannot tell except for the loose clothing she's been wearing to hide from publicity. I don't know how tough celebrities' lives are, but it sure seems like it'd be nice to be able to afford a personal trainer, a cook, a nutritionist, a stylist, etc. to make one look gorgeous...

    Yeah.....sad isn't it. My hubby lost weight after we were married and he raves about my cooking....I guess it is just more healthy then he had when living in Alaska and cooking for himself or eating out.

    Awesome! That is soooooooooo true! I gained 35lbs just dating my fiance. I need to fix it now before we get married and we both get heavier.
We spoil each other with food items...not good.
