High Fiber Foods:


Grain Products:

whole grain breads, buns, bagels, muffins
Bran Flakes, All Bran, bran Buds, Corn bran, whole wheat Shreddies, 100% Bran and Fiber 1
Cooked cereal such as Red River and Oat Bran
whole-wheat pastas
whole grains such as barley, popcorn, corn and brown rice


Fruits:

dried fruits such as apricots, dates, prunes and raisins
berries such as blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries
oranges, apple with skin, avocado, kiwi, mango and pear


Vegetables:


broccoli, spinach, swiss chard, green peas and other dark green leafy vegetables
dried peas and beans such as kidney beans, lima beans, black-eyed beans, chick peas and lentils
Nuts and Seeds:

Doing well so far

I am really proud of my self. I walk 5 miles 5 days last week and weight trained 2 or 3 days out of last week. I lost 3500 calories last week. Now I just have to STOP weighing my self every day!! I am going to only weigh on fridays...I ate ok this weekend but not as much as I should have. I really need to follow the sparks meal plans again and I don't think hambuger helper is too good for me. Thats mainly what I ate this weekend. I did manage to eat some fruit and veggies. I feel so bloated today. I think I need to eat more fiber. I was working out on the treadmill sunday and all of a sudden I had this rush and I had to go to the RR and now I still have that heavy feeling in my stomach so I really need fiber. Well so far I am proud of my self and a little upset because of being bloated.

    Girl, I am proud of you too -- 5 miles x 5 days??? I'm working on getting those 15 minute increments of power cardio in when I can!

You are doing great. Keep up the good work, and remember the veggies and fruit are your FRIENDS!! Hamburger helper is not meant for long-term human consumption!!

Its hard to believe just yesterday it was snowing in dallas, tx!! Its so sunny I could go blind looking into the sun!! Well I did my 5 miles today and I am so glad. Tomorrow I will do it again!! I lost 3 pounds as of today so I am glad about that. I got my 20 cups of water in yesterday and trying to get in 15 today or more. So far so good.....I hope i keep it up and that jlo pic is to much..she know she wrong for that flawless body.. If I had like that body I would have to be single..

Today when I woke up, I threw my gym clothes on and went out to my car. . I woke up rested at 11:15 am ready to walk 5 miles and weight train at the gym. Well when I got to my car the key wouldn't turn in the door to unlock!! Then I finally took all the ice off my windshield with a my BEYONCE cd case and broke it! Then after that I was finally ready to go...untill i realized i have to get the ice off of the back window too!! bout time I realized that I needed to get the ice off of the back window my hands were so cold the blood was frozen!! well I gave up and went back into the house and washed dishes. I was soo mad....later I finally got the ice off my car after I bought a ice scraper but then it was time for me to get ready for work. I am going to the gym in the morning and nothing is going to stop me!!

    Wow that was a rough start for the day..but you know..bet you expended lots of calories working with the ice..that is frustrating! Good thing is at least no more of that in our area for a while anyway...sure hope this weekend turns out to be a good one for you..you DESERVE IT!!!

I walked 5 miles and did my weight training on the gym equipment for 30 minutes...BUT...I went home and heated me up some dijornio's pizza..this was a 3 meat pizza with cheese and stuffed cheese crust...Oh yeah I was in heaven and my stomach was in DANGER!!! I was bloted and I just felt awfull about it but now that I did that I know to not do it again...I hope..I ate half of the pizza which was probably 1000 calories. I am great at excercising but pitifull at eating right....I don't know what I am going to do with my self.......Oh well I'll just keep on walking 5 miles every day. Besides its only been 2 days of me walking 5 miles so I need to give the weight loss sometime and I NEED TO STOP WEIGHING MY SELF EVERY DAY!! I did it today and yesterday...I am a weigh-a-holic!!
