I'm ok so far but I realized that I can't say i'm going to eat this to lose or I am going to do this to lose. It's now a LIFESTYLE so what I do now is what i need to be doing for life. I am going to eat what I want. I lost 3 pounds eating what I want and not that chicken and brocolli stuff I was eating every day. Thats why I failed because that stuff got boring and nasty. Now I try everything but in moderation and I make sure its all healthy or somewhat healthy. I still eat sweets but its not more than 150 calories and i eat it only one a week if at all. Now I will say that I stay away from pizza and will only eat it once a month or not at all. i cant explain every thing I am doing because Its a longggg list but I do log my food so I will just make 'that I am not going over my calories and other goals. If I do i won't fret, because tomorrow's a new day. if you read this blog and have suggestions please please share! I am not perfect so I need as much advice you can share.

    Over the last 6 months or so of dieitng and eating healthy I have learned a lot of tricks and technics that move the scale and at the same time make you feel great. i just recently got a job as a yoga instructor and a nutritionist and i am thrilled!

I think since you are eating healthier now the easiest way is plan your meals for the day in the morning and see how many calories you are at for the day if you have extra it is okay for a little reward.

Continue drinking your 8 glasses of water a day, maybe try starting your monring with some green tea it will get you going and you metabolism will be ready to go also.

Exercise is only 20% of what it takes to lose weight but it is important so make sure you do t everyday and change it up and keep it intresting. It will elliminate stres, give you energy, and tighten those muscles!

I can't stress enough about reward yourself, maybe take a bath or give yourself a pedi, just make sure you do something everyday.

Look in the mirror everyday before you shower and find one more thing you love about yourself, it will put you confidence through the roof and give you amazing motivation.

Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, beans,whole wheats, and nuts. Make sure you are getting that protein and fiber you need!

Try and stay away from sugar as much as possible, sugar free gum and fresh squeezed juice taste so much better without all the sugar dded. Plus fruit can cure that sweet craving!

I can go on for days but I think you got the idea, you have done so great already and I know you don't need much advice but I figured i would remind you of all these little tips, I am sure you have heard them all before but if not try them and you will be amazed on the difference you feel in you body along with the weight you lose!!

You go girl, everyday is a day closer to your goal!! Just take it day by day!

    Hiya! You are for sure on the right track. If you can't sustain it, it's only a "diet" and it won't work long term. Fersure it's a lifestyle change; you seem to be doing well with the right attitude!!!!

Have you considered the Carbohydrate Addict's Lifeplan Program? It's what my team and I are using ... it's awesome; you can have carbs, but only at one meal ... and one day a week you get to do "whatever." The nice thing is, there's lots of yummy food that's "legal" and you're never more than one day away from carbs, if you really really want 'em..... I think if you Google it you'll find their website.

Meanwhile, you're doing GREAT ... hang in there!!!!

Lost 3 this week.

I pray that I am able to focus next week as I did this week. I pray that I am able to wake up every morning with the strength and motivation as I had this morning to work out. I trully belive in you lord and I know you don't want us to be out of shape or unhealthy and I am going to not only feel better but look better and hope fully my inside will change for the better just as my outside is changing. I pray that everyone on sparkpeople will meet their goals this year and I pray they don't have any set backs and mentally they are ready and prepared to meet their goals. Amen

    Great job girl! Keep it up, if you keep losing 2 or 3 pounds a week you will make it to your goal in no time! Just keep trucking and the results will be fabulous!!

They are sooooooo delicious and they have 9 grams of fiber! 9!! grams. If I surveyed 100 people only some would say they even get 1 grams of fiber in their daily diet. Try this bar now! There are many flavors to choose from.

    Now, you KNOW I'm all about the fiber! Suck those fiber grams down, girl - it truly does help with the weight loss (feeling full, um - 'emptying you out', etc.) - I promise you that!!! :)
