Everday weigh inner...

Monday, January 22, 2007

I love to weight everyday (when I know I am doing good) and I change my ticker if I see a weight loss. Silly me huh but like today I went down a pound this weekend and I just had to change my ticker. Now if my weihgt goes up then I will put the ticker back up but seeing the weight go down motivates me to do right.

I love my ticker too! I weigh every day although I know I shouldn't... I found the pound that you lost last week! But that's OK because I have stepped it up a knotch. I signed up to run the 5K race in March, so training is ON!!!

I love my ticker! It's a visual for how much weight I've lost, how far I've come, etc.

My ticker

Friday, January 19, 2007

I changed my ticker because I weighed in today and i weighed 224. Also my ticker used to be at 232 but when I first started trying to lose in 2005 of feb i was at 237. I never in my life saw the scale go down EVER!!!! I didnt think i could lose, i thought something was WRONG with me untill feb when i joined a gym and stopped eating late. I have not been at 237 since feb but I have been at 235 and now at 224. I am just proud of knowing i can lose weight so I would rather put my ticker at 237 showing where i really came from but with sparks i have lost 8 pounds.

You are doing great! You might not see a weight loss each week and that can be so discouraging and hard. But hang in there! The scale will go down!

Congratulations on your weight loss. Remember, too, that your body will be changing while your weight is. Some weeks, that scale won't move...but you'll feel awesome and you'll look awesome -- and this is what everyone sees...not your scale. Celebrate the small victories~ *hugs*

Time to do the Snoopy Happy Dance! It is great that you have lost weight and that you are less than you were in February 2006. That is the direction you want to go. Keep up the good work.

a co-worker told me

Friday, January 19, 2007

My co worker just reveled to me that I have a problem with "portion control" I dooo! and I didn't even realize it. Today I ate a footlong chicken and bacon ranch subway sandwich that totaled 1084 calories. I was wondering WHY am i not hungry after i ate it so I looked into the calories and realized why I wasn't hungry. I know i said to count calories before you eat but I honestly thought 6 inch wheat bread a few peices of chicken and bacon isnt that bad. Well it was 4 peices of bacon and probably not low fat. Any way 1084 calories is really good because its 12:21 am and that is all i have eaten. Im not too hungry so I think I will stop now.

Wow thats an awful lot of calories in one sandwich, no wonder you weren't hungry. A double wow on your co-worker telling you.

I think portion control is something we all need to work on so you are not alone. I try to rationalize pizza every now and than and thats another thing that needs to be watched when figuring out portions.

Did you know Jared from Subway has a book out? Its called Winning through Losing; 13 Lessons for Turning your life around. I got it from the library and think its a good read.

Have a super weekend.
huggs,
dottie

Wow--your co-worker is brave. And I'm so proud of you for not jumping all over him/her! It's amazing how the calories stack up. You just get USED to eating so much food that you don't know when to stop (at least this has been my problem!)

Call were coming in like crazy at work

Thursday, January 18, 2007

MY GOOOODDNESS it was busy today. Wuuuuuuu whoooo!!!

Well I didn't get to grocery shop because I realized it was too cold and I get off at 12:30am so when I got home I had a PERFECT parking spot right next to my apartment and you dont know how hard it is trying to get a close parking spot plus it was too late to be walking half a mile to get to my apartment so I just stayed home.

I ate a subway chicken bacon ranch with wheat 6 inch sandwich so far. It was good. I think I am going to work out to night after I get off of work. I am thinking about sighning up for more over time next week. If I do I am going to get up at 9:45am and walk for an hour and go to work at 12pm. There is really no excuse for not being able to work out and work over time too. Its doable I just wont get 8 hours of sleep. I do like to watch tv when I get home so If just go right to bed then I wont have a problem with getting 8 hours of sleep and exercise too.
