Updating those who read my blogs

Monday, March 28, 2011

Wow ok so its been a while since i've posted one of these things.

Currently I'm stuck between 245 and 252 lbs. I got down to 243.6 once in the last month. I just bought Just dance 2 for the Wii and Jillian Michael's 30 day shred so i'm gonna add those into my workout routine as well as trying to get back into the gym 3-5 days a week to hit the elliptical or treadmill for 2 miles or more. i spend 1.5 hrs a day at the gym when i go. My husband and I both started using a site called Loseit.com that allows me to log all my food and exercise into my Ipod touch instead of my having to be a computer all the time plus i can use this site whether i have internet access or not to track my intake. So i'm very happy with it.

I've lost 24.4 lbs since july 2010. I'm still struggling to make the best decisions but am slowly working out all the little kinks in my plans. my goal right now is to get to 230 originally by next month which is my husband's 30th bday but it doesn't look like i'm gonna hit that goal so i may stretch it out to my son's 7th bday which is june 25th.

according to my lose it plan which is to lose 2 lbs a week if i hit my goal every week i should lose 100 lbs by december 19th 2011. One can only hope that happens. If it does i'll be down to 175 lbs by the end of this year. which would mean i would be the lowest i've been since i married my husband almost 9 years ago. I can't wait to see where i'll be when we hit our 9 year anniversary. when i married my husband in 2002 i weighed around 200 lbs. when i met him in april 1999 i weighed 150 and thats where i'm aiming to get back to.

Set your mind to it!! Focus and stay committed emoticon

Cindy and Kathi workout at the gym too a few times a week, maybe if you have someone to meet with there it might make it more fun and you will look forward to going. Just a thought. Looking forward to seeing at the next Meet & Greet!!

Hugs, Anna

Good luck wtih your new plan! It sounds like you have some steps to start with and to help you get past your plateau. I can imagine how frustrated you may be - I just spent 3 weeks at the same weight and busted out of it this week. We all know you can get through this! :)

not hitting goal for this year.. but will next year.

Monday, December 28, 2009

Well i'm still no where near close enough for my goal i set for myself.. but i will strive and hit every goal next year. I plan to change what i'm doing and stop making excuses for why.. like oh the kids are sick or i just don't feel like it.. this has got to stop.. I can't keep making excuses for why things are the way they are.

If i'm ever gonna get to my goal of 150 lbs i need to do this now. Right now i keep bouncing from 243 to 257 on the scale and its annoying and disappointing as hell. So no more.. its coming off and staying off for good.

I feel you. I'm so far away from my goals for the same reason. I vow to reach my goals by doing just the opposite of what I did this year. Good luck.

Good for you for making a point of not giving up. Make some plans to change, set some small goals that will be reachable, when you reach a goal, give yourself a small reward that you can use!!

You CAN & WILL meet your goals and make it happen! You are WORTH all the work and effort that you put into it!

My motivational page

Friday, August 21, 2009

It didn't take me long. I put 4 pictures on my motivational page. I used one at my heaviest weight of 275 lbs . I also put a picture of me during my senior year in high school where i was 150 lbs and a current photo of me weighing 239 lbs and a picture of the men in my life who are the reason for doing this. So i hope its a motivator for others but if not it sure is for me.

so sick of doing things the easy way.. lol

Tuesday, August 11, 2009

I am so sick of taking the easy way out.. like when you don't feel good or just like not doing something then you don't. Well i'm done.. i am tired of always just not getting something done cause i don't feel good. If its easy then i should have it done already right.. instead of waiting to do it till it has to be done. anyways.. just figured i would say that its time whether i'm sick or not to get this weight off.. no being lazy and not exercising just cause i don't feel like it or whatever.. its not a excuse anymore.. its gotta be done.. to make my life and my boys life a lot healthier and so i can be around to see them grow up.

Sometimes we all have to bite the bullet and kick ourselves in the pants to get going. Good choice.

I agree with you there! I am actually in the same boat and yes it has got to stop! No more making excuses! No more "I don't want to" or "I don't feel like it" or "I don't feel good" or "I'm too tired" or "I'm too sore"

Lot of the exercises are EASY! So therefore I should not have a problem with getting my butt up out of this chair and just DO them, right? LOL

But, if I want to make this lifestyle change worth it, then I have to be willing to make some changes and make some sacrifices to make this lifestyle journey work.

And you can make it happen!

Struggling with food choices.. :(

Thursday, August 06, 2009

I've got the exercise part of this weight loss stuff down pat right now. i just need some motivation in the food department... i mean common.. a girl should know that eating a whole bag of mini oreo cookies isn't a good thing for her if she's trying to lose weight but i couldn't help it once i opened them.. :( ugh.. anyways i need a kick in the rear to get this weight off as i wanna get something sexy for my bday and i can't do that if i am packing on the weight instead of losing it. ok well thats my blog i'll update more later gotta chase the kids

You are certainly not alone in that department. Especially when you have kids who want sweet snacks. You can do it though. Just try to substitute a healthy snack that tastes good too like Weight Watchers Ice Cream Bars. They are so good and only have around 150 calories.

    Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone at all in this struggle! I battle with the eating part of it to, but you can do it if you put your mind to it and stay determined. Like Jadzeamay said, maybe get some of those 100 calorie packs of the oreos and when the pack is gone it's gone and also hide the rest from yourself, if you need to have someone else hide them from you. I tend to hide my snacks in the cupboard and then end up forgetting about them, if they're on the counter out in the open, forget it!

Just don't give up on yourself, don't ever doubt yourself! You can make this lifestyle change journey work for you, if you're willing to sacrifice some things. You can do it, because you are worth it!

BTW, I noticed we're both in the Fresno spark team!

Get yourself the 100 calorie packs of them. Then when the pack is gone, that's it. There are loads of the 80 - 100 calorie pack junk foods. That way you don't feel deprived.

How,s the little guy doing after his surgery? Sounds like they are doing great. emoticon

I completely understand how you feel. I have given into all of my temptations this week including cookies and icecream. I have noticed if I don't buy it or don't have it around I won't eat it. When I have the temptations I will quickly try to move my thoughts to something else so I don't have to think of it anymore. I have also been able to give in once in a while without overdoing it. Try have 3-4 of those mini cookies just to enjoy the taste and then stop. If we really put our minds to it and stay determined we can do it.

GOOD LUCK!!! I am right there with you.
