I've been thinking lately that I have no idea how fast I actually jog/run, and that I might be going a little too fast and that is maybe why I am struggling. So since I am trying to get back into running since I was sick in January, and since my Wednesday run was rained out this week, I decided to try going slower today and see if that would help. I did a 12 minute interval, then a 4 minute interval. So my long interval did get longer again, and my second interval got longer. I felt less breathless through out it all. So I think my focus for a while now might be longer and slower. I sure am tight and sore in the shoulders today, but I think that may be because I forgot to bring a regular bra to work, and my jog bra straps everything down pretty tight. Can't wait to get home and change. Ugh. I need a back up in my work locker!
