Run #7-That was a hard oneWednesday, July 20, 2011
I woke up with a bit of a headache and a little stuffy from allergies this morning but I went for a run anyway. Today was the hardest day so far. Right about 1.5 minutes of running I would feel like there just wasn't enough air and I would barely make it to two minutes. It was all I could do not to stare at my watch and count the seconds. Then the recovery time walking just felt too short too, like I barely recovered before it was time to run again. I've been reading up on breathing techniques but it didn't seem to help much. Also, it is really hard not to be a heel striker when you are feeling tired. It was just a tough day.

Sixth runMonday, July 18, 2011I didn't add any minutes today. I decided I would run for two minutes, and at the end of the two minute interval see if I felt up for adding another minute. I felt like I would have really been huffing and puffing, so I stayed with two minute intervals of running today. We will see how the week progresses.
