Step up time

Ok I am going to step my fitness p, I have been trying to get back to 120 for a while now. I was at 123, today I weigh 126, (I am hoping some of it is due to water weight being it is that time of the month.) My plan is to eat better and try to fit more fitness in, particularly at work. I think I will be running stairs a lot. (Luckily, I work in a 6 story building.) We'll see ho this goes, hopefully in a few months I will actually reach my goal weight.

Well it has now been a week if not over since I was last on Spark People. Things have been insane. Last week was super stressful, I was fighting with my parents and my boyfriend, plus my aunt died. I did get to see he one last time but it was so hard, I barely recognized her. She passed on Saturday March 21 which I am grateful for because she was in a lot of pain. She had been fighting pancreatic cancer for 2 years. Then Saturday night I had to go to the emergency room, I had a kidney Stone. Most painful experience of my life. I passed that on Sunday but then I ended up sick Sunday night/Monday morning. I stayed home Monday from work. I am feeling better now, but since I was so sick and in pain I barely ate all weekend so now I am making up for it, but I guess that's ok because you shouldn't diet when your sick. I am craving sweets like crazy though, but hopefully I will be back on it next week.

I am starting to see results already. My wait today was a 26.5 instead of 27 inches, my hips are now about 37 inches instead of 38, (they might be like a 37.5 but that is a hard area to measure, because the tape slips) and my weight was 126 this morning. I am so excited. I like seeing result this quick. I am so proud of myself. Now I just have to keep up the hard work.


Hunger Cravings

I am really trying to stay with in my calorie range and trying to eat all the things I should, but it is hard and at certain times of the day I just feel so hungry. These hunger cravings are driving me crazy. I went over my calories twice last week (granted it was the weekend and I made an extra effort to work out, but still.) I hoping it is just my body adjusting and that it will go away soon.

I also have found it really hard to get the right amount of everything. Sometimes I get enough protein but not enough fats, or to much fat but not enough carbs. I also am really trying to eat a lot of fiber and protein to keep me full, but it is hard. It is even harder when you live at home and your mother does the grocery shopping, and she tries because she my whole family needs to lose weight, but the food options out there suck. Seriously with what is available no wonder people are over weight. emoticon

My unusual fitness goals:

I want to not look like a pear

I want to fit better into my current bathing suits

I want to not have my boyfirend pick me up by the sides of my pants to get into my skinny jeans all the way (the legs are so tight)
