A New Season

Monday, February 10, 2014

Well my Spark People I'll be absent in one day. Wednesday is the day. Really don't look forward to the convalescence period or the long days of pain during the recovery. My wife will be with because of FMLA. That's a relief.

I'll post tomorrow night. Keep me in prayer. emoticon

Surgery went well. The combination of pain meds through my body out of control. Put me in a dark place. First post yesterday and second today. I am back, thank God. Keep me in prayer. emoticon

Surgery 2/12/14

Friday, February 07, 2014

It seemed like years away when I was given the surgery date. Now 5 days separate me from a new shoulder. Takes about 3 hr's, if no complications. I solicit your prayers and well wishes for a speedy recovery with no complications. I will watch what I eat, even though no exercise opportunities. Will see you all on the downside of my surgery. emoticon emoticon

New direction with a new attitude

Thursday, January 30, 2014

I am back on track. I have resigned myself to the surgery and the convalescence time. There are steps I can take while in recovery. I can work on at home exercises and others from Spark people. I am still in the race. I like the blog about changing lifestyle weight loss goals. Better to change in a direction that doesn't require weight loss concentration, only. I can and will be successful. emoticon

The trials and tribulations of weight loss.

Monday, January 27, 2014

It appears that every step forward I take I find myself falling back three steps health wise. I signed up for the 28 day challenge but before I could begin I slipped on ice during the storm injuring my shoulder and now have to have a foreign element implanted to make a new shoulder.

Surgery is 2/12 and not looking forward to 6 to 12 months of recovery. Have to make a concerted effort to watch my food intake to lose what I can. Request your prayers for a speedy recovery.

Blog later. emoticon

To Do

Friday, October 11, 2013

I started placing workout on my calendar. Also have learned more about sparkpeople to elevate my success. The articles and the videos have helped me turn the corner. Just have to keep focused on my progress by scheduling daily activities and sticking to them. I encourage others to follow me, join in with me, and keep me on the track. Appreciate any comments to go with me on my journey. emoticon emoticon

You are doing so well - there is lots of support at SP - I just love this place. From here I get all my motivation, even reading people's blogs motivates and encourages me as it does you - keep up the good work!
