it's been a while!
I've reach my 152 pounds goal it seems! Hard to believe i've lost more than 40 pounds since i've register here back in.. I can't even remember.. a couple of years ago. I've lost the 20 first pounds here on SP, counting every calories i let in, even if the choices weren't always the right ones. Never really went seriously to the gym, it was too hard to stay motivated and took too much of my *precious* time. I don't think going to the gym is the right thing to do for someone with a considerable amount of weight to lose, shouldn't be a priority. There is so much more to learn about nutrition and changing habits is hard enough without adding the "gym and big physical activity" aspect. I wouldn't have lost these 20 first pounds without SparkPeople.
This year i've lost the other 20 pounds. Easily too! Just by taking a walk a day with my beloved boyfriend, and cut the crap out of my diet. Eating beans and veggies for the first time of my life. What a big and GREAT change. Now i'll try to cut the refined sugar, floor, etc. I don't eat much of it right now so i won't be too hard. I just need a couple of good day-to-day meal ideas.
Now my goal is not even losing anymore weight, even though there's some spot i'd like to see melt :) losing weight is not my goal anymore. I want to be in shape, to be fit, to move and have fun doing it! I'd like to see that myth of abs.. :)
So there, a little update! :)
