I have had a lot going on lately and I am regretting not fitting in my workouts or logging my food. Shortly after the BIG move to Tennessee and getting settled into my new job, I went to Ireland for 2 weeks. It was an amazing trip!
BUT it threw me off my routine. So I have to suck it up and get back on it! I know its that first step I have to take and stick with it. I know its easier said than done but I did it once, I can do it again!
I have family visiting for the summer and I need to work out a schedule to fit a workout in. It makes it hard when you want to spend as much time with them as possible. One happens to be my 12 year old daughter who is not an active person. So I am trying to find activities she likes to do that can be beneficial as a workout for me and fun for her as well. She doesnt enjoy cycling anymore . She used to do 15 miles easy! But as she grows up..she just wants to sit around. I know its a phase, my oldest was the same way. If anyone has suggestions, I am open
I am training for the Color Run in Knoxville. Its in October and I know I have plenty of time but thats what makes it harder..I figure I can run tomorrow or the next day but never Today.
I can do this..I can get back into it!!
I brought my walking shoes to work today, I will go walking at lunch
Sometimes writting down your plans makes it easier to get motivated to do them.
So my husband and I are finally going to do it..we're going to move to Tennessee!
We were always talking about it but unsure we were ready for that move. Well after seeing Michigan in 2 feet of snow..we decided.."Yup"..the time is now! I love TN and love the beauty of the mountains. My dad lives there and I make every excuse to go visit him lol. I already have job interviews lined up the 1st week of March, we have already been pre-approved for a mortgage, and we have money saved up in case we come across any emergencies.
Its a good sign that everything is going smoothly My sister & step-mom have always told me that if it comes easy..its meant to be. Of course that doesn't pertain to weight loss lol
We are moving to the Knoxville area and my husband will graduate from WMU in April and will have his BA, he is finding more job offers in TN than he is finding in MI. I am just surprised that I have interviews already and I just applied at job last week!
I already looked into gyms in the area and there is a Planet Fitness close by and running/cycling trails
Looks like I may be moving before my husband to get settled in before he graduates but we are prepared for that. Wish us luck on our new journey together!
The Holidays are extremely busy for me and I'm sure everyone else too. Its been hard to fit time to go get a workout in
I thought I would have time last night but the kids wanted to go sledding. BUT sledding is a workout lol Going down that big hill is so fun..but the climb on ice and snow can be quite the workout lol. My legs are feeling it today
So when you feel you cant go to the gym because the kids want to do something fun..make it your workout! Times are busy with family but playing a physical game like the Wii or sledding will make up for it
I am just happy to have the energy to keep up with them while they are home for the Holidays! And I have Sparkpeople to thank because it is my inspiration and motivation
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
