Today was the end of summer/summer birthday party at work. Pizza and cake. I had two pieces of pizza and a small piece of chocolate cake w/ frosting (and I don't really care for frosting). Thing is it's hard to calculate the calories for pizza. I did my best, but it was Papa John's and they only give calories for their specialty pizzas on the website. I used one of the specialty pizzas in place of the Hawaiian slice I had (pineapple & ham) and the second piece was a very small cheese slice , but all I could come up with was a cheese slice from a large pizza.
I only went over the calories by about 150. I've been tracking for less than a week and am determined not to let this bother me. Of course, with the muscle spasms and no exercise, it makes it hard, but trying to exercise with pain will get me nowhere. So, I'm going to start fresh tomorrow.
Odd thing is, this is the first time I've gone over. Earlier this week I didn't eat the minimum calories, which really surprised me. But, I am becoming more aware of what I eat, which is one of the goals.
