Frustrated but that wont stop me...

Ok..i started a new gym and I love it.. i am lifting weights in Pump class and getting cardio in Attack and zumba i take about 7-9 class a week and i will be adding rpm/cycling classes in at some point...So this is whats going on....i have only been with this club 2 weeks and in 2 weeks i have gained another 5 pounds... i will be damaned if i make my tracker say 170 that is a 10 lb gain since i have been back from tampa...i have not changed my eating habits.. i am on track with all my water food and is TMI... My monthly friend was a week late (have no idea why) and we have had high heat and humidty here in NC... so i have no idea what is going on.. my clothes still fit (and the shouldnt at this weight) i dont look like i have gained 10 pounds... so i am wondering if my body is in shock because it actually had to start working out hard again instead of the other lazy gym that i really didnt... and i couldnt tell if this happen when i was in tampa lol because my father didnt have a scale lol...sigh... just frustrated at the fact that the scale is going up even though i am working harder lol.. i am hoping maybe my body is in shock and changing fat to muscle lol... in a couple of weeks i will post pictures .. my arms and legs are startign to define and getting stronger everyday!!! i am planking and doing pushups with the best of them.. lifting 30 to 35 lbs for squats and clean and press and 20 to 25 for chest presses.... 15 lbs for triceps and biceps.. and 15 to 20 for i have increased my weights since i started also... i go back and forth on the numbers depending if i am having a strong day or a omg my muscles cant do the high one day any thoughts or i am ok keep on going lol ( iwill keep on going anyways but lol i feel like i am crazy) lol oh i am crazy nevermind lol!!

    Keep going! If you can do it without hurting yourself, keep going! Build those muscles! Also, it could be water weight, from not only TOM but from the heat, sometimes that happens to me... I just bloat. Feels like my body is saying "Man, it's hot! I better hold onto all this water so I don't dry out." Don't let it get you down. You know you are doing everything you are supposed to. Something will give soon!

asheville round 2 - my special weekend trip :)

well we headed out to Asheville NC once again to fiish up some hikes and waterfalls we wanted to do... i can say that we finished them like champs :)

we started at crabtreefalls friday
2 miles was rated as strenous.. i would have rated it as moderate (lol what does that mean ? LOL)

here are some pics of the trail and the falls

then we left there and checked in to our hotel room

and had dinner at

the next day we did mount mitchell to mount craig and the to the top of mount mitchell.. but as you will see the clouds were creeping in.. but we had a really good challenging hike.. i scaled rocks like a champ :)

now this next part my husband was obviously proud that i climb this like a champ last year i would have had trouble with this trail

then we saw there lame little museum lol i wont bore you with those pictures and then remember the hike i did back in October the one that i have the picture up for my wallpaper.. we went back and did that....

Half way thru the trail my husband stops and said in ocober at about this pnt you were having troublelifting your legs up over the rocks and you were breathing hard.. he says look at you now walking up them like a champ and not breathing hard.... like this is the jaunt itis suppose to be.. and high fived me :) that felt good here are few pictures of that hike

Then we ate here for dinner (remember this was a special weekend this is not how i usually eat lol)

Ahhhhh this was a 6 oz top sirlion steak lol with a sweet potato but i was so hungry i forgot to take the picture lol...

then we went for a walk for an hour in asheville... it was around a lake i wont bore you with those pictures.. and then we went too.....

yes that is a small blizard with m & m's ... mmmmmm made me happy :)

And this is the lasite of the day as we were walking back to our room... perfect!!

the next day we went to the Asheboro Zoo on the way home... i will not bore you with those pictues but if you want to see more of these hikes and the Zoo.. you can go to my facebook page a send a friend request to Adewyn Le Blanc and i will accept and you can see plenty more where this come from.... I was one tired baby when i got home that night... and i think it took the full week to get the salt out of system from the food we ate lol....

    Longhorn's steakhouse, and Olive Garden rock! Also peanut M&M's are something I love. In a Blizzard they are heaven.

Glad you saw immense improvement on your hikes. I always try to gauge improvements other than weight. I don't measure myself, so it is usally physical in nature, like not being winded after climbing stairs, or walking to the store.

If we keep improving day after day, we will be almost perfect by the time we die of old Such a waste. At least there will be M&M Blizzards every day with no weight gain in heaven. Till then though, we can make our lives better every day.

I love your trips. I went to Cleveland Zoo last year, but this year feeling so good, that next year I will probably feel comfortable enought to go somewhere offroad when I plan my next vacation. Nothing better than being in nature. Zoos seem to be overhyped, so they are a dissapointment. It is soooooo flat here in Michigan. The pics remind me of the Adirondacks in New York, slightly smaller, but nice green wooded mountains.

One of my favorite books is A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson, about walking the entire Appalachian Trail. Your stories have pictures

Yep it is friday!!! and i have been dealing with alot of glum people lately...people with fibro having bad flares... people jut complaining about the little things in life...and i cant be that way.. i have fought long and hard to get to a place where I can enjoy life in all its glory weather i am having a good medical day or not...there is alwyas something to appreciate and always something to laugh about and always something to smile about and ALWAYS something to dance aout (does the snoopy dance*

Ok ok ok .. i had 7 days to prepare learn and get a playlist for all ages together that was fun and exciting and said zumba with my flair lol... well let me tell you something... i change my play list 4 times lolI was freaking out because i had learn new dances each time i change a few songs... then i wasnt sure if i was really remembering them.. (thank god i take notes of all the dances i do)it is thursday morning and i am FREAKING!!! FREAKING!! So i head to my usual Erin Zumba class thursday morning... then 4 zumba instructors (all hung out for 30 minutes they were showing new chorography and i am like aaahhh.... LOLi am not joining i must focus..... so i did a dance for them,..... and i screwed up lol. (because i really didnt want to do it for them LOL)but then i got the pep talk and how i will be fine blah blah blah.. (very nice though )so they left and it was me the room the stage the sound system and my music...... took a deep breath and pressed play.... i went through the whole play list with only doing 2 songs twice through.... i finished a sweaty mess again (alrady gross from the first class) sat down gathered my things and i felt a calm come over me.... it was the familiar calm when you get when you know you know something.... that when i knew Friday morning was gonna be ok....

Got up this am...It wa like any other normal morning SOre as hell took meds sit eat breakfast go thru emails forums sparks facebook lol... posted on all of them....had a few people pop on and wish me luck or tell no worries you will be great..... I got to the gym early handed my paper work t the manager...i still have to fill out some paperwork but whatever do that monday...sat down because there was a class going on.. put my head phones n and listened quickly thru all the songs and read through my notes... I am good I was thinking... then my fellow ZUmba instructors show up LOL and they are like you ready and i said as ready as i ever will be.... now they saw the screw up yesterday so i amsure they were like lol this is gonna be a good one *insert eye roll* But introduced myself i told them what was going on ...and hit play on the ipod and The 27 yrs Aerobic instructor came out of this body with vigor with jumps and claps and hootin and hollering and telling people here we go!flying back and forth across the room.... doing moves like jagger as a warm up.... then sexy as you know it.... and now they are hoot ing and hollering and singing along lol...then good lovin comes on and they loved the twist moves and had fun it was like we were at a beach party lol... then J lo Lets get loud comes on.. OMG now i have people outside the room wondering what is going on the room... we lose a few people we gain a few people lol... but we are having fun.....Did a few songs that got the booty going the boom boom dance as i call it andother song.. the it was ricky martins La viva loca ..Oh hell i dont know who came out then but she was a crazy person.... jumping squatting pushing pulling jumping somemore (the real me is having a hard time breathing lol) but we get thtrough that and then we did a swing dance high kicks and low kicks jazz hands LOL.... and the last song before the cool down *phew * Mony Mony and the twists and the runing around the room everyone did great and the pony forward and back... like champs i am telling you.......Thank god class is pretty much over and i am so happy withthe way class went .. i forgot one part but i recovered it well lol.. shrugs ol i was totally into the music lol.... class is done i thank them i had a blast the other instructors were like wow who was that person up there lol... i said my fun twin lol they were like Hell ya! so i will be getting sub jobs from them llol..... then a few othe clasmates came up and told me how fun it was loved the music... and OF COURSE like i knew it was coming the debbie downers... *insert eye rolls* this club Allows these people to basically run the place and i do not give in to the whism of these people.. Love me Hate me .. Dont really care I gt my sweat on if you didnt get yours shame on you lol ......SoToday wasnt really about audtioning for the club.. i could care less if i get the job or not... there areplenty of others that will take me so.. whatever... Today was a celebration for myself... YEP ME.... I ME MYSEF got myself BACK to the instructor i was 12 yrs ago before plerisy took me down the first round Gi problems the second round and this new disease that made not able to walk 4 yrs ago,,, I did it! I AM BACK (wellminus all the pain and stuff lol) I did my class i showed myself YET again what my body CAN achieve once i pushed myself again..... Soo WOOT WOOT ZUmba!!! Zumba saved my life and now it is time to give back !!! ZUMBA!!!!!!

    thank you both..Hubby took my out to dinner last night and he told me how proud he was of me lol.. i cryed like a fool LOL :) Not many people understand how difficult it has been and the road that was so long is finally coming to the for front and Now starting to enjoy life again because I CAN do things again,... hugs ad love... you all helped me through the tough times and i just wanted to share the good too :) it is all because of my zumba friends and my sparkers that i am where i am :)

In a good way of course !!! i accepted to teach on Friday morning Zumba class... i have my "audition" next friday YAY... if they like me it will be my offical class... so over the top happy... then the same person that is giving up her clas wants me to come to a meeting with her and other woman and see what we can do with zumba outside of the gym.... So excited you can make good money outside a gym...veruses 30 a class at a gym lol.... huge difference.... so thursday night i meet with them and see what we come up with...

theni come home i have a email waiting to tell me i have a meeting on TUESDAY night to become a Wellness coach!! are you kidding me.. LOL i have come a long way baby... and opportunies are flying all around... i asked the universe to send me a sign that i am on the right path with my new(old) career lol... I guess i am... incorpating everything i have learned and every i know and what i once did.... still getting group certified and personal training and nurtrition... thats still all in the plans.. But this week is all about meetings and getting my dances down for friday!! super excited !!!!
