I believe this is my first blog entry here on SparkPeople.
My goal is to lose 100 lbs in a year. I am 26 and about to be 27 in March.
The last time I weighed myself was in August 2011 and I was 256 lbs.
I am a bit phobic about weighing in again because I fear I may have gained more weight since then. It is no matter because as of Monday I have started my new workout and healthy eating regimen.
I have plotted out a schedule of exercise for a month out to workout twice a day, before work and after work. The workout in the morning is freeform at the Y while the evening workouts are classes that I am taking at the Y.
I have discovered that the group for 20-somethings who wish to lose 100 lbs does not have a leader and I am considering becoming leader and sharing my journey and setting goals for everyone as a team. It would be nice to have and give moral support to others.
I think that is all I have to say for now. I do not know if I will be posting pictures of myself and my progress but we will see.
In my life I am hoping for changes in other ways as well. Hoping to get a new job and to get on the fast track to what will make me happy and comfortable (no worrying about money etc).
