Day 26 of 28 Day Bootcamp

I need to get my workout in quick before I run out of time. I have a huge to do list for today and it will start in just over an hour. At least the items on the list are fun! I have splurged the past couple of days on my food. The results are in - I am gaining back a couple of pounds. Not surprised. But I am not falling off track, just rewarding myself for making the necessary changes and still making more healthy choices than not. Here's to another great day!

Here is to another great day of working out and eating healthy. I am feeling great and will start working out soon. I like to get up and while eating breakfast read some articles, post to the message boards, etc to get motivated. Then it's my turn to kick my own butt. I have been having some great workouts the last 10 days of the bootcamp. Only a few more days of this challenge and then I will look for another challenge to keep me motivated and keep my level of workouts from dragging. Go kick some butt!

    Sounds like a great day, glad to hear it. I try and get my exercise routine done in the mornings as my day hasnt gotten out of control yet and it also makes me feel more able to take whatever the day brings. More energy, a longer spine, its all good. Hope you kicked butt and are ready for a great weekend!

I did it! 18.8 lbs gone. I have reached my goal of 135lbs. It took me 10 months to accomplish this. I did it all through lifestyle changes a little at a time. I now workout regularly. I eat a variety of fruits and veggies. I eat "whole" foods - not processed. I drink at least 8 cups of water a day. I participate in the SparkCommunity.

On to a new goal. This one is to maintain my healthy lifestyle and keep my weight between 130 and 135. So yes, if I lose a few more pounds hooray. If not I am healthy and happy and did I mention feel great!

    Woohoo, way to go. Congratulations!! I love to hear this kind of thing...makes me hopeful that I will get there too. I am working at getting rid of the clutter in my life and thanks for coming by to lend your support. Yup, I have heard of flylady though dont follow it. Maybe I will check it out again...does it work for you?

What a great day. I was busy at work which resulted in a quick day there. I was able to get home and have time to myself to read my emails, make myself my healthy foods to eat, eat, pick up flowers for a friend, pick up some hand me down clothes for my daughter, and then go for almost a 30 minute walk. Just me! I feel elated. My husband called for me to pick him up from his late night at work. No problem. I had at least 500 calories remaining so that means it is treat time:) I used those calories for a Orange Freeze Shake. After eating so healthy for so long this treat was awesome. Stayed within my calorie range and have my healthy meals planned for tomorrow. Smile today was a good day:)

    emoticonI keep working at this. I've lost and regained several times over the past 3 1/2 years but I've never been back over the 214# I was when I started. I'm reading all I can now on Insulin Resistance/Metabolic Syndrome so I don't get Type 2 Diabetes. I know ATKINS has a lot of good information about it and so do South Beach Diet by Arthur Agatston, M.D. Just have to keep working on this.

I am starving today! I will try to find some healthy foods to eat if my dinner does not fill me up. I feel like I could eat my entire pantry! I am also craving sugar:(

    I am trying to have Wheat BRAN mixed with 1/2 cup oatmeal and some skim milk late at night since I have cravings then. I didn't need to have it today and had one small apple instead.
