Last week I thought about eating the Raw Food way, but after researching it a bit more, I have decided it is really not for me because I need to eat my food rather than drink it. I do love protein shakes a couple time a week though. Anyway, after having company and friends over this past month I became very itchy all over, I don't know if it was sand flees from going to the beach or what, but I noticed some new bumps that almost looked like bites of some kind. We vacuumed everything we could think of washed all the bedding and gave the cat a bath too. I am feeling better and not very itchy today. Also been taking benadryl. All that must be helping.
A couple months ago I stumbled across Dr. Oz's article on Ayurveda types and eating for your body type. I took the quiz again and when I was reading about my body type I was amazed at how much really did coincide with me! It was like a light bulb going off in my head !
My body type is Kapha, perfect, yeah right, I just wonder if I will be able to follow the plan. It is very hard for me to give up dairy and citrus fruit. But I will try because I know when I eat right I feel better and with all my skin issues maybe it will clear it up and my digestion will take a turn for the better too. That would be a bonus in itself.
My goals this month are:
Plan ahead for my new eating plan
Follow the Ayurveda Kapha eating plan
Stay active with walking, biking, yoga, and weight training
Stay positive and live for the moment
Went to the Sarasota Orange fest, I bought my hula hoop and saw this cool lady manikin with a plant on her head!
