sweat and abs day!

Well I have to admit as the days roll on it is harder to do the workout now I know it, I will be very glad when next week rolls around and it changes around to workouts I havent done before.

Above all I am glad that there is only one more sweat between then and now ;)

So another hot day and I still pressed on, although waited until night to do it in cooler temps!

With a house move coming up and my exercise room that is the current spare room going I am hoping that this workout continues to the new house and set up.. I plan to make it happen but it wont be so easy to kick my other half out the room for me to do my workouts ;)

Well the house move will be completed by the end of the September just in time for me to start my months contract so it is all go, the workouts are really the only bit of my daily regim that hasnt changed, and it is keeping me grounded in this.

Its great when I get annoyed or wound up I go exercise, it clears my head and allows me to either forget it until a solution comes to me, or lets me let it go. I am going to try over the next few weeks if the temps allow to workout at the beginning of the day rather then the end, that way when I start working I will already be in that mind set. (although I am not a morning person ;) )

So onwards and upwards...

    Same for me, when I am working out consistently, everything else seems a bit more focused in my life. with all the changes going on in yours, it's great that you are following a routine (and a hard one at that!)

Sculpt day!!

So scorching hot temps here today and TOM visit so not really an enjoyable day to do a workout.

I waited until night to get it in for cooler temps though managed to complete it, my heart really wasnt in it tonight though.

I managed to do one extra set of dive bombers and pushups, and I think my heals are closer to the floor on the downward dog part.

Little improvements I am seeing the back of my thighs are starting to get a shape to them and the front are getting more toned.

Cant really see anything different in abs or arms to be honest but I think perhaps its because I look at those every day in the hope that overnight they are amazing ;)

I have however put on 1kg!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo so I am now 63kg I honestly hope it is because it is TOM. Although really I have lost my way a bit with food, I have still a high intake of carbs, I was trying to cut back on them so will have to re-think that next week.

I honestly feel like since I have been keeping track of my weight that I am having more of a fight with it, I now exercise more then I ever have done in my life and my body is in better shape at 30 then it was at 21. Sadly though I seem to not be at the right weight and struggle now to get it to what i think is a reasonable 56kg.

Breakfast - cereal bowl of and a cup of tea
snack - fruit
lunch - wholemeal sandwich, turkey and salad with cup of tea
snack - nuts/ fruit
Dinner - rice or pasta with veg with cup of tea

The above is a typical day, I have even now included one day a week of fish to add to my diet to help my joints ... any advice out there gratefully received on this one.

    Everything seems to be in order...maybe you're not eating enough? That's what everyone tells me when I talk about not being able to lose weight.

But I think you're gaining muscle :) So don't stress out about it too much. You're doing a great job! Just keep at it!

Well today is rest day, but yesterday was sweat and abs for me.

The sweat really burns the quads in the first section, then the funny walk section and I dont get that, I dont feel it anywhere with the lateral crosses or the grouch walk, the tyres on fire bit well thats cardio more then anything. Perhaps I will try to get lower on that next time for a difference. The punches and kicks are coming on nicely.

Those abs are great, my form is improving but the last 20 I loose form a bit and have to fight to keep it there, perhaps next week will be slightly better for form.

All in all today was a day I had to fight to do this as it is now getting a bit boring for me so I´m very pleased next week is the last week of the set of doing sculpt and sweat only and then it changes up to cardio.

I am not seeing as many changes as I want, perhaps I am not seeing my body the way I am supposed to, but I desperately wanted to see more ab changes and really I am not seeing them, the two pack is becoming stronger for sure and a little bigger, but by now I really wanted to start seeing the four pack come through.

Perhaps those will come in the next two weeks.

Sculpt day!!

I much prefer sculpt days to sweat days!!!

I struggled through tonights´workout having had hot temperatures here today, and not being able to eat on time and when I should have meant tummy ache and a horrid day.

Good point thought I managed to eat Salmon today wohoooooooo I hate fish, but need it in my diet so forced myself to eat it. Very smelly kitchen now, but I am pleased I got it into my diet, my joints should stop complaining at me now if I can manage to eat it at least once a week. Second time I have ever cooked fish so was pleased with how it turned out.

Changing things around and making sure that I am doing what is best for my body now. The big thing will be when I start work in october is to make sure I continue the workout routine I have set up now!! Its relatively easy for me right now as I have been unemployed, and the exercise has staved off the depression of all that goes with that... when I am working I hope that I keep up the good work.

Tomorrow is the last day of this weeks workout, and I then have friday as a rest day wohooo, love how my workout week ends before the week does it makes the week feel shorter somehow ;)

So it was FBE today the fat blaster from turbo jam with abs 200.

I have to say that I find FBE difficult to follow, obviously my body is not very co-ordinated and I dont find that it burns as much for me as the daily shred did.

The abs are getting much easier and form is improving with each time I do this dvd, although today half way through my dvd player stopped working so I had to work from memory, I think I might have missed one exercise as I only counted 9 so I will have to watch it on my other dvd player later to make sure.

I am really hating my scales, without clothes it reads something like 61kg now, but with clothes 62kg ... clothes weigh 1kg!!! REALLY??!! I think I have lost a few pounds but it would be good to get under 60kg with this program perhaps 56kg would be a good weight for me to aim for, just havent seen the scale go the right way since I started so my main goal is not to put on more weight.

Still looking into more fish into diet, but main thing I have changed is to never let myself get hungry, fewer smaller meals. More protein!!!
