Have fun with it. You need some little kid to show how to run it. Techy stuff comes naturally to them and not so for us older ones.

Have fun with your iPad! Be sure to look for the SparkPeople app--if it is anything like the app for the iPhone, you will really enjoy it!

Sorry you have to work this weekend. Enjoy your Ipad. I'm torn between a notepad and an Xbox system so I can do Zumba at home. Then, too, I want poles so I can try pole walking. So many wants, so little...

Be sure to have a good healthy breakfast/meal after your lab work! Won't that taste great? It seems to me I am always hungriest on those days when I have to fast for labs. Have a great weekend, Betsy. Do you have to work the holiday? Hugs, Jeannie

Hi Betsy, I swear it took me almost a year and a half to learn how to do things. For the longest time I didn't even know what a huddle was or a thread. I finally took more time and now I've become much more informed about how to get around on Spark. I remember when I first joined Spark and they didn't have Spark Coach yet I honestly didn't know about spinning the well it was almost a year before I started doing that and earning points. I guess I'm a slow learner once I learn it I'm good to go. Enjoy your weekend busy lady. And, I'm so proud of you pulling in the ropes on your BF pizza idea. Even a foot long subway would be far better for you.

Love,

Jill

OH!!!! I worry about being anywhere near a pizza!! I keep thinking that I have no idea how I'd react to seeing one and if I could keep away from it!!

Look at you! You told your b/f not to get pizza! That's great progress--it's a trigger food for me as well, so like you, I don't want it in the house.
Don't worry about asking questions--that's exactly the best thing about SP. We all help each other!

Karen

emoticon emoticon emoticon I can't resist pizza either, and my DH LOVES pizza. He could eat it every day. So, we have to make pizza an extra special treat for us. So glad you were able to talk your B/F out of taking the large ones home. We can and will succeed in this journey we're on. emoticon emoticon

Never stop learning....no matter how small you think it might be.

You are learning how to handle YOUR hunger, in a healthier way!

My husband used to bring home a Pizza, once a month, after a meeting...but now he buys 2 individual slices. As I will only eat one slice emoticon with some salad. That seems to work best for me.

Now he is trying to work on his diet too, so we can both help each other out. And it makes it so much easier for me!

How great is that! Yes, there is plenty to learn everywhere we look. I agree with that completely. Making great choices at the Golden Corral is quite an achievement PLUS to talk your BF out of taking home large pizzas--well, I think you are making terrific progress! Keep up the great work! Hugs, Jeannie

It's nice that you are getting things organized. As for me, I think it's a hopeless cause. I'm too much of a hoarder myself.

IF I CLEANED FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, I WOULD NEVER BE HAPPY WITH THE WAY THINGS LOOK. I AM A MINIMALIST, MARRIED TO A HOARDER. IT IS AN IMPOSSIBLE SITUATION. HAD I SEEN THE WAY HE LIVED BEFORE I MARRIED HIM, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A DEAL BREAKER - CRUEL BUT TRUE. HE WILL NEVER CHANGE AND I FIND MYSELF GETTING RID OF MORE AND MORE OF MY THINGS, AND I HAVE VERY LITTLE TO START WITH. I THINK I AM OVER-COMPENSATING FOR HIS LACK OF ORGANIZATION, ORDER, AND HOARDING. I AM OCD AND PROUD OF IT!

I can tell all you spring chickens that it definitely DOES GET WORSE. HaHa -- I'm almost 74 and still pushin' so don't give up the race. Try to keep in mind that we have not FORGOTTEN -- the word or thought is still there, we just aren't able to access it quite as quickly as before.

Have a great day -- and keep plugging away at that room!
