I know it is a bummer but have you gotten a ticket in your car and had to go to a class to avoid the point on your record? Didn’t the class give you some good refresher information?
I suggest borrow/buy a cookbook or a diet book.
I recently purchased a new diet book and there were so many good reminders for healthy eating.
• Take a multi-vitamin
• Eating beans and lentils, especially at lunch to give you energy for the afternoon. (reduce or no whole grains & legumes @ dinner)
• Try a detox drink. (I am on my second day.)
• Get a daily stress reducing technique in place. (ei Tai Chi Chih)
• Exercise
• Smile – it makes you feel better

  


Just get out and do it!

This morning I wanted to recap all the really good messages I received from blogs this week.

So I pulled the iPad over and started to type.......

I do not need to be a perfectionist about ME.

Be sure to do things that make ME happy. Not what others expect.

....... Wait a minute Joanne, put that electronic device aside get off your butt and take the dogs out for a 4 mile walk/run! So that is what I did. Unfortunately my blog doesn't have the content since my memory is shot, but hey I did it for ME and the dogs benefited to. Score!

Really Really

Ok, I have really worked on the walking. felt great and was doing more & more.
Then wham last year injury then surgery. Boy has it been hard to get back at it. My knee just isn't cooperating. I am reluctant to go back to doctor.
Doing a great job eating healthier, tracking foods, getting some exercise in and guess what?
I am already seeing results. So I guess I am back in the game. emoticon
Let the carrot lead me on!

Ok this month I feel like a whale.

Successes:
1.Healthy lunches @ work last week and this week! Salsa makes a great dressing.
2. Getting some exercise in. Walking, video & rowing!

Great trend going. Healthy food (working on serving sizes now) and hitting the pavement.
