Feeling lazy today

Not much of a blog, more like a comment. I am feeling so lazy today. I got more than 8 hours of sleep and still took another hour and half nap. I am still hungry even after the latte cheat last night and added too many carbs oatmeal today and cornbread at dinner. I don't think it's reasonable to keep me under 100 carbs a day for more than 6 days--I go crazy. I may need to rethink the IP VLC plan. I felt so much more pride when I just ate and kept calories down below 1500.

ARGHHHH. I AM SO HUNGRY !! I AM ALREADY THROUGH AN ENTIRE PACK OF SUGAR FREE GUM AND STILL CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT SOMETHING SWEET. THANK GOD THERE IS NOTHING INTHE HOUSE EXCEPT THE SUGAR FREE JELLO. emoticon

    Are you actually hungry or do you just have a desire to eat? They aren't the same.

Out wait the urge. It's absolutely worth it. You'll get more strength in the future when it's hard now.

    I agree, eat fruit if you're craving sweets. also, brush your teeth, nobody craves sweets with a minty mouth.

    I hear you! I did that yesterday. Unfortunately I caved today. Like someone mentioned to increase protein but , I would increase the non-starchy veggie as well. Exactly what I did not do today. We don't have to be perfect to the plan, even 90% clean eating (1 or 2 cheat meals per week) will not completely hinder results as long as we get back on the plan.

    You may not be getting enough protein or water. Consider upping your intake of both. This could help you cut your hunger feelings. Also, when you are craving something sweet, eat some fruit! This is never a bad thing. Good luck!

My goal this work week is to make my afternoon snack really count. I am so hungry after 5 o'clock that I need to be sure to have a 3:30 or 4:00 pm snack that keep me from eating like a fiend when I get home. Today I searched in my desk and found salmon in the packet and minute brown rice---perfect. I can't believe how long ago I packed that ---probably more than a year. I used to have good habits I just can't believe how easy it was to let them go. The good news is that I have not have even one piece of candy from the candy dish since before Christmas. ! emoticon and still have resisted the Valentine Candy completely!

Ok, I am geting psyched up for the Weekend weigh-in. It's been more than 10 days but I am feeling good so I can face the scale tomorrow morning. This week I am proud:

1. Kicked the coffee and creamer successfully this week
2. Resisted the urge twice in the store to buy crap--i.e. sugar things or a box that I would consume completely
3. Pushed the stairs several days
