STAYING FOCUSED

recently I found myself comparing what others were doing to lose weight. this was my downfall before. We have to remember that everyone is different as well as everyone's body.some people may choose to do no carbohydrate. Some people may choose to do smaller portions of food. For me I chose to do smaller portions and work out. No diet pills No meal shakes No Quick Fixes. This time around I am staying focused with what works best for me. Slow and steady wins the race. This is a new me a part of my new life style. No matter how small the loss any loss is a good thing.

    I believe its important not to isolate yourself but in the same breath to be sure you are not trying to do something that doesn't work for you. Focusing on what works for you is a great thing

WELL THANK YOU FOR TAKING TIME FOR ME! I AM A LITTLE UPSET. I WAS GOING ABOUT LOSING WEIGHT ALL WRONG. I THOUGHT LOWER CALORIE AND INCREASE WATER AND LOTS OF CARDIO WOULD DO IT! BOY WAS I WRONG. EVERTHING DOESN'T WORK FOR EVERYONE! I AM STARTING MY ROUTINE ALL OVER. I HAVE INCREASED MY CALORIE IN TAKE AND SLOWED DOWN ON THE EXERCISEING! I AM ONLY WORKING OUT THREE DAY STRAIGHT AND NO MORE THAT 60 MIN A DAY!I'LL TYR NO MORE THAN. I WAS USED TO WORKING OUT OFTEN! COME TO FIND OUT I WAS BURNING MYSELF OUT! I WANTED TO BE AT LEATS 20 POUNDS LIGHTER BUT OH WELL I RATHER BE LIGHT THAN HEAVIER. AT ANY WEIGHT! FOR ALL OF YOU WHO KNOW MY STRUGGLE I THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORDS OF COMFORT...STAY WELL, KIZ

  


IT'S NOT WORKING

HEY, THIS IS ME VENTING... I AM TRYING TO KEE POSTIVE WITH OUT EMOTIONLA EATING! I HAVE BEEN HERE STRONG FOR OVE TWO MONTHS AND I HAVE ONLY LOST 11 POUNDS. WITH THE OCCOSIONAL 1 POUND ON AND OFF! I AM DOING AT LEAST 70 MIN OF CARDION 6 DAYS A WEEK AND WEIGHTS ON 4 TO 5 OF THOSE DAYS! I KNOW THAT THIS WEIGHT DIDN'T COME ON OVER NIGHT BUT I HAVE BEE WEIGHING IN EVERY MONDAY AND THE SCALE MUST BE BROKE!LOL I KNOW IT TAKES TIME AND I HAVEN'T BEEN EATING ENOUGH FOOD TO KEEP ME BODY GOING...BUT I MEASURE EVERTHING AND I DO EAT WHEN I AM HUNGRY! SO IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND YOU HAVE SOME SUGGESTION I AM ALL EARS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME! LOVE YOU FOR READING, KIZ

It's Jazz, don't give up we can do this! We just have to be PATIENT and CONSISTENT. I read somewhere that if you picture yourself thin it will eventually happen. So i'm picturing myself at a healthy weight and sexy! keep working out and eating right, you'll reach your goal! take care, jazz

    I rather new here, and know what you're going thru. I've done a lot of reading over the years and I don't remember who stated it. but... what sounds like is happening is with the carido and weight training that you are doing and the lower amounts of food intake, it could be that your body is basically going into starvation mode. While the excise is building muscle (which weights a lot more than fat) your body is hanging onto every calorie it can, thus no weight loss. I've also read that over time the mind eventually accepts the change in habits and the weight starts dropping.
Have you done measurements to see if there's a difference there?
Of course I'm no expert, these are just a few things I've read. Hope this helps....
