Yesterday morning I got on the scale and it wasn't pretty. And I'm not sharing! So I determined that I had to do something so yesterday I ate sensibly, following the Sonoma diet as much as possible. I got the new cookbook and it has some fabulous recipes! The ones I like the most feature interesting ways to cook veggies. You can get really tired of veggies the plain old ways. So this morning, I got the e-mail from Spark entitled Are you Prepared to Reach your goals? I took the quiz and got labeled room for improvement. Then I read some of the related discussions and realized that I didn't have any goals. None, Nada. Oh, I have the I think I want to lose goal but that is it.
So I am setting some goals. This morning I walked with my friend Pat and she gave me a pedometer. There is a fitness challenge at the local Air Force Base of 10,000 steps in a certain time period. This morning I walked 5500 steps with her and went onto Spark. Sure enough, there is a step tracker so I have signed up for that. Just waiting to hear back from her as to how long I have to complete this 10,000 steps.
i never did a visition board but I have pics posted on my bulletin board of a very thin and much younger me for motivation. I would still like to weigh 160 lbs so that is a goal but I really need an eating goal as I eat too much and too often. It feels good having a goal. Now I need to set some goals to clean up the house. Hubby thinks I am a hoarder but that is another blog. Later.
