LEARN TO BE CALM AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE HAPPY!
I wore my new fit flops yesterday and I noticed when I took them off last night, that I had a couple of muscle aches in my lower abdomen. I haven't felt any muscles there in many many years. I lean forward a bit when I walk and I notice that the fit flops make me stand up straighter by tucking my butt and pulling in my abdomen. Every little bit helps. I weighed this morning at 180!!!!. And went ahead and recorded it. That is 2 pounds since Monday. WW might be my answer to success!
Losing weight is a trial and answer thing. You have to try many many different plans and options to find one that works for you. All of us could develop a new weight loss plan by combining the best parts of all the ones you ever tried that worked for a while. I will tell you one thing now, if and when I finally lose the 20 pounds I need to lose and get to 160, I will NEVER EVER GAIN IT BACK! NO NEVER!
Three times this week I've had the Southwestern grilled chicken salad at Mcdonald's for lunch. It's very filling and 5 points. Keeps me going all afternoon. Yesterday, I had time between appointments so I stopped in, took a break and ate my salad. I arrived at my next appmt just in time as the client was pulling into her garage.
All of a sudden, I am busy again. Don't know what it is but I'm grateful. I actually have a couple of interesting clients and jobs going on. Maybe it's because the oil spill has stayed away from our beaches and the well is blocked. There's a huge sigh of relief here, you can just feel it. I'm even meeting with a contractor about doing some things in our home. New windows and doors, etc. We have about a year and a half to pay off debts and make improvements so that when hubby retires, we'll have it done. Granddaughter is coming today and we are going to a class to make TUTU's for her. Later.
