I was doing so good today and then we went and ate Chinese.
It's one of my 6 yr old DDs favorite places to eat and, unfortunately, it's one of mine also. I like everything! So I told myself, just put a little taste of everything you want on your plate. I even picked out just the broccoli from the broccoli and meat because I like the flavor, so I thought I'd try the healthier option. Unfortunatley, I also had an eggroll and two of those cream cheese wontons (they're my favorite!) and some fried rice and the sesame chicken (also one of my favorites). Then my husband had me try his spring roll which was excellent, so I ate another and, when I could eat no more, he said he had them put some veggies on the hibachi for me because he knew how much I liked them! It was so sweet of him and they were veggies, so I ate them too! This just reminded me that I forgot to add them to my tracker for the day and I was already WAY over my daily calorie range. Oh well! It was fun! My daughter loved it. (She wanted to give everything a try also. I love the fact that she's willing to try anything!)My husband loved it and I loved it! So, I'll chalk it up to another learning experience and be happy that we had such a great experience!
