I went a little over on calories today. Dinner was more of a buffet/snacks, so I tried to stick to the veggie area anytime I felt the urge to snack. I think I probably ate way more broccoli and squash than I accounted for. I tried a little of the meats and other food but my absolute favorite was the raw squash. I've never had raw squash on a veggie platter before. No one really seemed to be eating it, so I made that my go to snack and finished it off before the night was over. It was yummy!
Of course, the drinks are what put me over my limit. As always! I had one or two glasses of water between drinks and just tried to make them last.
Also the Fitbit was a great help. At times when I normally would have been sitting, I stood up instead. When they started the outside movie I was up and walking around while we watched!
Everyone is having a great Christmas! It's so nice to visit with all of our family and the kids are having a blast!!
