Week 4, Day 1

We're showing the house again tomorrow! That is awesome and keeps me slightly stressed so I feel like I need to work out harder and it helps me keep the house REALLY clean (which is why I'm slightly stressed).

Today I did the Day 1 video twice and an hour on the exercise bike plus used the blower in the front yard and took the hose to the back porch because the kids found the charcoal and made 'charcoal drawings' all over the concrete.

Tomorrow should be a bit more relaxed. DD will have church school in the morning. Then we'll go to church. We'll go to the dog park and let the dogs play while they show the house. Then we'll come back and watch football!! And I'll do at least an hour of steps while we watch football.

It's been a good day!

It's been a good day. I have not been able to get in my week 3, day 7 video but I have stayed up on the cardio and nutrition. I also started the challenge ahead of time because I knew I may miss a day or two. Apparently that's the only thing my TOM is affecting this month.

I managed an hour on the elliptical today. Then had to spend the rest of the day working on the house. We are showing it again tomorrow. I hope it goes well. But I'm not worried one way or another. I love our house so I'm happy to stay a while longer but I know my husband will be moved sometime in the next 6 months so we really need to get it sold soon.

Goals for tomorrow:

Clean Bathrooms
2 videos
1 to 2 hours of cardio
DD's test
Homemade Pizza
Track everything!

    Your goals for tomorrow make me tired. Seriously, I've concentrating on making goals that are only related to my nutrition & weight loss. Right now, as we speak...I have a dining room table that is suffocating from clutter. I would be up a creek if I had to show my house tomorrow to anyone. Thanks for reminding me that if I set & reach other goals, it will make me feel better & more able to stay focused. Take care...

I'm SO Excited!

I'm so excited! Initially, this may sound strange but the reasons behind it are cause for celebration. Let me remind any potential reader that this is about health ... and a quick warning, I am going to mention that time of the month. [I know! OMG!] So suck it up and keep reading or stop here and keep pretending like it doesn't really happen EVERY month.

So, I started today! Why is that sooo exciting?? It happens every month doesn't it? Well, yes it does and it usually signals it's arrival with some extra calories (usually in the form of chocolate) and a fitness drop (in the form of my body dropping on the couch). Did that happen this month? NO! And that is why I'm so excited. I did not eat the healthiest yesterday because I didn't get in all of my veggies but I did stay within my calorie range and I still did and hour of steps. And the 2 days before that, I excelled at my excercise goals and nutrition!

Today, despite slight cramps and a little headache, I'm feeling pretty good. Good enough to get on the Elliptical again. Maybe I can get another hour on it today! I've already had one serving of fruit this morning and I'm planning on 4 servings of veggies through lunch and dinner.

Week 3, Day 6

I have not done any exercise yet today. It has been a very busy day! After the kids are in bed, I'm going to confiscate the Wii and see how many steps I can get done before I do my video. Maybe I should do the video first.

I also realized that I do not eat as healthy when we have spontaneous trips. I did take a banana and a nutrigrain bar. I ate the bar but not the banana. When I get really hungry, it's hard for me to eat anything decent. By that point I usually just want a cooked meal - be it healthy or unhealthy.

Tomorrow will be back to normal.

    We always have tomorrow to do better. Have you tried the Wii free run. I started over the weekend and plan on running 20 minutes every morning. I love my Wii also. We have alot in common LOL
