Consistency (or lack thereof)

I still seem to have problems actually sitting down and logging in every day to track and plan. We're still getting resettled in the house and my DH goes back to work next week so I'm hoping I can get a routine down then.

We have not set up any of the exercise equipment yet and I somehow lost my Wii Fit game in the move. I had to order another one because our local store only sells the whole bundle. I'm pretty sure I can feel my clothes getting tighter!!

I need to make a point of logging back in EVERY day! I know I can do it. It's kind of like starting back over, but I will get it done.

It's not really starting over though because I know a LOT more than I did last year. And I'm still eating fairly healthy. Tonight we're having homemade pizza on a wheat crust (SP recipe) and mine is full of veggies with feta cheese! :) All the kids chocolate candy is gone now and I have to re-wean myself from that addiction again. It's one that never goes away completely but I can usually get it down to one chocolate thing a week.

Now it's time to do my videos for the January challenge and then I'm going to move my bike in here and try to get half an hour on it tonight!

Moving, Holidays and Health

We moved everything in to the house and then turned around and left for the holidays. Now we're back. We haven't even unloaded the holiday packages from the car. We just started organizing and unpacking boxes in the house first.

I was not able to track everything over the holidays. I tried to watch what I ate but most of the time did not have internet access or decent phone service. I included as many veggies as possible and even did steps for 30 minutes using a tire that someone had replaced!

So now I'm back to daily tracking and exercising. We're still moving tons of boxes so that will help also. I feel like it's still part of my lifestyle change, not just a New Year Resolution since I'm back to normal and it's the 28th of December! I lost a few days in December that I'm going to consider maintenance practice!

Packing and Tracking

After accidentally having tea poured on my laptop last night, I said a little prayer this morning and hit the power button to turn it on. It worked!
So now I'm back online and ready to track everything again today. We're picking up the truck this afternoon and should have most of the house loaded by tonight. I'm going to try to get in exercise in between packing up rooms. Finish one room, do 30 minutes of steps.
It will be a busy day!

I think maybe I like piling stress upon stress. It's a great test to see how calm and happy you can keep yourself even through crazy situations. In the past, alcohol has been one of those things to help keep me calm. Unfotunately, it interferes with ALL of my other goals and eventually can make it harder to destress as well.

So, I'm kicking out all alcohol until our anniversary in June! I've tried it before but only for a few days at a time and even in that short time I can always see a difference. Usually I don't tell anyone else, but this time I have already told my husband and added it to my other SP goals. I want this streak to last until June! It will be my longest SP streak ever!

December seems to be a hard month tho track in even during a regular year, so this year I told myself that I would just continue to exercise everyday and log in to SP whenever I could to update my tracker and points. If nothing else, I just need to try to track my food, but I know that sometimes I'll be without internet access and phone coverage (hard to imagine in this day and age) so I'll just try to get in my exercise on those days and watch my food, paying close attention to fruits and veggies.

On top of the regular December craziness, I found out on Thursday that we are moving again. We will be moving out this Saturday! It's good to get it over with all at once though - the regular December craziness plus moving craziness, I mean.

My goals for today:

Stick to what I have already entered in my tracker for today!
1 hour on the bike
1 hour of steps
Pack 3 - 5 more boxes
Quick clean each room - 10 minutes each
